It's a great computer with great ease of use. It's Windows With a 500GB hard drive, this X550LA-SI50402W laptop allows you to take plenty of stored media files and documents with you on the go. The 15.6" display presents visual content in crisp high-definition.

Item does well in general every day task. It is quick and responsive. Laptop struggles a little in multi tasking, but it gets the job done.

For just surfing the internet, emailing, and Netflix it's great. No issues so far. I wouldn't get this computer for games or video editing

We bought this laptop to replace another older one that was starting to slow down. This was a great priced laptop although I don't care for the fact you can no longer get any computer with a Microsoft bundle so needing to shell out another $239 for that brings the price up. Not best buys fault though. If we weren't going to keep using the old laptop I could have change the license. Overall we are happy with this laptop and the service from our local store.

This is my first laptop and I've just started college. It works well and is fast with its impressive processor. Windows 8. Price is pretty good for the processor type. Battery tends to switch automatically between Balanced and Power4Gear which is annoying, and the mousepad has that cheap plastic feel. I wish I had gotten a smaller screen, preferably 13, because it does take some room up in my backpack since I carry the laptop and books. Also wish it was thinner and more compact. Webcam and mic quality could be better, but I'm not complaining. Overall, not a bad computer. I like it. StartUp is always instant, and the computer doesn't lag or crash or freeze. If you haven't tried windows 8, it might be weird to adjust at first, but you get used to it.

I bought this for my daughter who is in college. The performance has not been what I expected, and I'm sure that Windows 8 didn't help any. After about six months the left mouse key began to stick intermittently, and continues to do so. This highly recommended laptop also freezes intermittently. Sometimes I have to take the battery out to reboot, unable to interrupt the "freeze" with task manager.

This laptop is great for the average user. It is lighter than the Sony it replaced and much faster.

I bought this laptop because my old laptop needed to be replaced. I really like the keyboard and the fact that it is lighter than my previous laptop, but I just don't like Windows 8. I would easily give this laptop 5 stars if it had different software on it.

I use this laptop almost every single day for school and leisure. I use it for watching shows as well as internet browsing and word processing. I've never had any issues with it and it feels like it will last a long time!

Got this for my boyfriend on black friday and he loves it. He did have to buy some seperate adaptor to connect a miracast device.
