This is a great touch screen laptop, and functions well as a desktop replacement... The display quality is Excellent... Exactly what I was looking for, I highly recommend this Laptop... Not only for processing videos & large photos & yet giving anyone a fantastic gaming experience when and if needed... But for it's Raw Power & Multitasking ability... The (Intel Core) Quad-Core I7-4720HQ 2.6Gz ( Auto Turbo to 3.6Gz) 8-way Processing... Processor Makes it All Happen... I'm been a proud owner for 1 1/2 months now....

This laptop was a worthy purchase. I was torn between this and the Lenovo Y50, and after long debates and consideration, since this was going to be my replacement for my desktop, I decided to go with the ASUS. Everything is nice and quick about this laptop. I moderately game, and playing on high settings is not an issue with this. Only performance upgrade I might consider is a solid state drive, but not necessary for most users. The only down side is that it is very heavy for a laptop, and not portable by any means. Finding a bag has been difficult, but I did replace my desktop with this, so I wasn't thinking portability that much anyways.

    Desktop replacement?

Yes, this is a great computer from a performance perspective. Yes, it is heavy, you don't want to tote this around for Facebook and Skype, but if you want to go to your friends and game with a capable machine, this does the job. I am sure it is not great on battery life if you are gaming at the beach, maybe you should swim, but if you do game the dual fan backside exhaust will keep this beast and your lap from getting as burned as your pasty legs. 8-)

I've had this one for a few months now, and I'm really digging it's speed and power. It's played pretty much every game I've thrown at it, the majority on high settings. I love the touchscreen, its rugged build, and the Blu-Ray player. I haven't gotten into the body to see if it upgrades easily, but Im sure it'd be unstoppable if I did upgrade it.

    Monster.

Monster computer. Eat up everything I threw at it stared back at me like it wanted more! I bought this for graphic design and whoa is it a horse. Opens huge files that would crash my last computer, zips through indexing, rolls a 50GB outlook file like it is a game of solitaire and is very quiet. it is ugly and huge (monster) and I probably will not be lugging it around. I will likely be using logmein off my iPad or netbook to remote access on the go. The power is well worth it though. And it has all the ports you could want. VGA, HDMI, USBx4, SD, DVD and even Lighting bolt on my! The only thing I recommend is that when you get it, do the windows 10 upgrade, then make sure the network drivers and all the little asus drivers are updated, put the power settings on performance mode and click your seatbelt. Enjoy the power and stay safe. :)

This has a fast processor, hard drive with lots of room, one of the best graphics cards available, good amount of RAM, and its touchscreen. It cam be used for gaming or any other projects you would need it for.

I love this thing! Can stream even newer games as I play them and the touchscreen makes navigation a breeze. My only complaint is no adjustable zoom in the camera unless you install third party software. This computer is excellent for gaming.

This laptop is great for gaming and has an already installed screen recorder if you want to do YouTube or something like that. The computer is also is not that bad for its price, it has better specs for cheaper price than Alienware with lower specs and with a higher price. Overall, I would recommend this laptop to anyone who wants a very good laptop!

This laptop is completely worth the buy for its specs, it runs smoothly and have yet to experience any problem with it at all. Other laptops cost over 500 dollars more than this one for the same performance.

I picked this up about a month ago and you can't beat the performance for the price. I can easily play games on steam in 1080 like H1Z1 or State of Decay. Also a great work laptop. I'm a developer and can have 3 screens up with Putty, Virtual Box, PyCharm, several tabs on chrome, pdfs, word, an RDP and still no problem. Only problem is it smudges INCREDIBLY easy. It looks nasty and I have yet to find a way to clean it. For that reason 4 stars, still a great buy.

As a pretty hardcore gamer, for the price it was a pretty great deal. The computer is fast, and has a reliable i7 and the GTX 965M can handle pretty much any game out there right now such as Grand Theft Auot V. Love the gaming aspects it offers such as a button that directly launches you into Steam or a record button, to record footage.

Seriously. Ive dropped a good chunk of money on a laptop before. And ive never gotten performance like this. I didnt even get that high end of a G7 and it absolutely dominates every game ive played. At least High/Ultra on every 2015 title. Smooth OS running, touch screen is great. Just a solid laptop.

though i do much research prior to purchasing every computer I have ever purchased, Asus ROG computers have always been my final decison. This is my 4th asus laptop to purchase, And i have gotten about 3 to 5 years of hard use out of each of my others. My 2nd to last laptop survived 12 months in the desert, getting tossed in and out of a bag, and operated at 115 degree temps. The video card fried 2 yrs later back home due to the humidity of north carolina , and an attempt to overclock it (because it was already at the end of its usefulness gaming wise) long story short with the g751, you wont find another at this price point with these features. Sure you can build a desktop with higher specs for less money, but if you move around alot, and like to game in different rooms in your house, then this is it.

I can run my most demanding games with high to extreme graphics with no problems. The only drawback I've had is that it is larger than a normal laptop and will require a non-standard sized case to protect it for travel.

So... I bought two laptops This was the replacement to the first one (which didn't come in at the yet at the time I purchased this one..) Took this over the other model because of the video card and other tiny details.. All in All very happy with purchase and love the fact that It outputs 5.1 sounds (Optical Audio out) thru one of the ports natively.. so I can still use it with my Sound setup at home. Mainly bought this for Software Development and the occasional games I like to play.. Its a beast and plays games and does development well. Worth the money.

    Another ROG in the Family

We were shopping for a laptop for our granddaughter, and my wife noticed this new ROG. She already has a G750, but this G751 has a touchscreen. That is one thing she has mentioned over the past two years that would be really useful with Win8. While I continued looking at the 15" laptops, my stayed at the ROG demo, playing with it. As you have expected, it also went home with us. She has loved it. However, I had upgraded her previous model with SSDs, so this one was soon upgraded as well. I don't know if it's because of the touchscreen, or Win10, but she is learning more and more things she can do with her new G751. On the same shopping trip, in addition to two laptops, we also purchased a new washer and dryer. Later, as I was whining about spending over $3500 at Best Buy and I didn't even get a pair of wireless headphones, my wife reminded me that I got a new washer and dryer. I should have taken them to Bass Pro.
