Portable gaming delivered at its finest. I run this laptop through the ringer doing everything from gaming at max graphics levels to video rendering to working on massive image files and it's handled them all without the slightest hiccup. The touch screen is a nice added bonus for quickly checking on things or closing down windows before shutting down. Battery life is amazing and the backlit keyboard makes work at night a breeze.

The Asus is a superior gaming machine when compared to other systems like the Alienware R6, or Toshiba Tecra. It is a rugged laptop and runs cool. I am completely satisfied with my purchase and would recommend the laptop to anyone looking for the most bang for the buck.

This is a nice computer, Work well with games and applications. I'm still getting used to the touchscreen, but there are definitely times when it's nice to have available. I also do audio recording and computer animation and this computer is a nice portable fit for that. Graphics are very nice. It did not come with a user manual, just a quick start guide (basically how to turn it on). I had to download a manual from Asus website. I would recommend upgrading HD to an SSD after purchase as the bootup and access is a bit slow from what I am used to.

I was highly skeptical of ASUS gaming laptops but I figured I would give this one a go... Next thing I knew I was gaming on ultra settings at 60fps(ff14) Right out of the box! I never leave reviews but with this machine I felt the need. After owning for a few months i highly recommend this laptop for any gamer who wants PC worthy performance on a portable laptop.

This laptop has proven to be a great choice for gaming. It runs Star Wars Battlefront smoothly, which is a feat considering the requirements for the game. The only issue is the r button on the keyboard, that is not very responsive and has to be pushed down hard, making typing somewhat difficult. However, this computer was purchased strictly for gaming and does not bother us that much, except for the fact that it is not 100% fully functional. Otherwise, this computer is highly recommended!

This computer has plenty of resources for current games, which is why I purchased this computer. The 965M NVidia card with the 17.3 in screen makes it feel like I'm playing on a desktop system. The only problem is that I wish it came with a Blu-ray instead of DVD writer.

This laptop works so nicely! I was hesitant about the touch screen feature at first, but it's a really nice addition!! :) I love how smooth gameplay is on the screen, and everything looks nice. Graphics are beautiful, the sound is great, this entire laptop is bomb! :)

This Asus laptop is exactly what my son wanted for his graduation gift. The size and capacity are just perfect for his games and for college use starting this Fall. He is very well satisfied and couldn't ask for more.

Love the Asus 17.3; speed is great; resolution and sharpness superb. An excellent purchase for a consumer that is not sure about what they need, because this unit has it all. No regrets, satisfaction all the way. worth the cost because performance is excellent.

It is fast, well built and has great graphics. The red backlit keys look nice but are difficult to read. It does not fit in a 17" case you will need a 18.5" case. Overall I am very happy with it.

This laptop is everything I could have wished for and more I have not encountered a single issue other than don't believe the 8 hour battery life it only gets 4 if you're actually playing a game . this is a great laptop well worth the money

This laptop is one of the best gaming laptop that ive tried so far, never lag or crash while im playing my online games with on its high resolution setting.

Bought it for my son. he loves it. you get a lot for your money. his best friend has alienware laptop which cost almost twice as much. this laptop does everything and more in comparison.

I purchased this laptop for my son heading off to college. He loves gaming, but also needs it for school. I think this laptop is great for both. Only issue is that it's big and heavy. Not a laptop if you want a sleek slim unit.
