I love how fast and smooth the games play on it. It also makes recording game recording and editing faster and smoother. I feel this pc would be great for anyone who deals with high graphic content be it gaming or photo editing.

Purchased this machine because my old G74sx was dying, Came with a bad DVD drive but I replaced it with a Blu-ray Burner (Was going to either way). This is a Great gaming machine so far, but I don't have much in the way of the newest new games to try, but it plays the games I have Very well.

Bought this unit to use with Photoshop/Lightroom processing. It's a good machine, solid, well built with a few annoyances: 1. Windows 8.1 -- want i7 to run line an i5? yep. 2. The screen has a noticeable refresh every so many minutes - the thing literally blinks. I suspect it's a driver issue but not yet sure 3. The back-lit keyboard is impressive... but the function key markings are TOO SMALL.can barely read them. 4. Windows 10 upgrade went well, but did nothing to alleviate the "blink" but does run quite a bit faster. 5. Not all the memory is changeable. First 8 GB are fixed. Load up, though. it needs it. And they made it easy to add. 6. Love the USB 3.0 ports. Nice touch! 7. Disk drive is not the fastest but there is an extra drive bay for an SSD or extra storage of your choice - Yes!!! All in all nice machine. Heavy as a tank - you won't be taking it backpacking. but it's a great desk machine with a nice wide screen and nice features. It's beefy, fast and responsive when the OS doesn't get in the way. My Linux VM does fantastic.

This lap top is being used as a second desktop computer in my home. As such it out performs a beefy desktop that I had put together in 2012. I like the performance so much on gaming that I may not bother with building a gaming desktop ever again.

Just got this computer and i'm in love! If you love gaming, this one has great graphics! Got it to use for school and i think i may use it more for my xbox. Sharp red under lights, help light up the keyboard, but the best part is i can easily up grade my memory or parts quick and simle

I bought this laptop for my son for his birthday and it was a hit! It has a touch screen and downloads games fast.

Chose this laptop for school, and well of course, gaming. It really is a nice laptop and surprisingly really portable despite being 17" (note: I've had small laptops until now). Definitely getting your money's worth by purchasing this laptop. Handles gaming very well!.

Got this for my son... wanted to get something he could be proud of and had great quality... we like the large 17.3 touchscreen and expandable memory. I would recommend this laptop to anyone....

I love gaming pc. Graphics are great for Fall Out 4 on steam. Though my NVIDIA shows error and has never updated. This is concerning. Windows 8.1 came with it and sales person didn't explain Windoes 10... so eventually the download arrived and Windows 10 changed everything. I'm not sure I like it. But that's what is new.

Definate recommended laptop for gamers on the go! Reliable efficiency though I would reinstall when you get them to clear all the excess programs installed on them.

My son absolutely loves his new gaming laptop. Graphics are great, doesn't heat up Bc of the dual fan, and laptop doesn't lag so he can play a lot of games he couldn't play before. This laptop is highly recommended!!

I highly recommend this computer. It is great for gaming. Best Buy was so helpful in recommending this option. I can't say enough about their customer service.

This is my second ASUS computer. I love the ASUS computers for gaming and fast processing speeds.

Most of my computing is done at home but sometimes I am on vacation and still need to use the computer. This ASUS computer notebook is perfect; it can handle gaming, it can project to my Microsoft keyboard and mouse and Vizio monitor but I can also take it with me when I travel.

This is a great gaming laptop for the price. Runs the online games I play without any issues.

This is similar to the last Asus laptop I bought. The main difference is that this one has a touch screen. I play World of Warcraft on it and it runs flawlessly with all the settings turned all the way up.

Can't wait for windows 10 to be released, 8.2 is not a very friendly operating system for users who just want to use a computer and not have lots of apps. the computer is great. lit keyboard, fast and good storage.

Needed to upgrade my laptop as my old Asus just wasn't cutting it any more. I play some mmos and was looking for a laptop that could handle the graphics. So glad I chose this laptop. Haven't experienced any lag in high populated areas with a lot of effects going on and playing with settings on ultra. I love Asus.

Absolutely too much computer for what I need.i'm running my business from this computer and the processor speed is amazing. I switch the games on the weekend and the processor is amazing plus.

Needed a portable gaming platform. This ROG had everything and upgrades are easy. Graphics are phenomenal.
