I have had & loved an Asus laptop for the past several years. If I hadn't dropped it on a concrete floor and shattered it I wouldn't have been looking to replace it. I always research and read reviews prior to purchasing anything but when I went in Best Buy just to see what was available I was swayed by the sales guy and my knowledge of Asus and went home with this lap top. A week later, I'm returning it. From the get go it has repeatedly shut itself off, even when fully charged. It "blinks" all the time and the drivers continually shut down and have to be recovered. Even though I do not use the tablet mode I am always having to flip it back to tablet then to laptop just to get the keyboard to re-engage. For the price of this item and the experience I've already had I have been hugely disappointed. I'm not even sure where to go from here as it makes me question the Asus brand that I've always loved. After seeing the previous reviews I'm convinced it's a consistent problem.

I needed a computer that was affordable, but had quick processing speed as well as huge memory. I love my Asus, it an handle streaming music, word processing, researching, and many other things all at the same time. If you need a great computer for school work, and/or for your kids to use in their studies this is the one you want.

Purchased the laptop one month ago and so far everything has been excellent. I read some of the reviews and was a little worried that I might have problems, but it was what I was looking for at a decent price. The salesman also said that it was a good computer. It was easy to set up and to get on line quickly. I haven't had any issues and hope it stays that way.

SO, i bought this laptop last night, and when my first set it up it was making weird sound which i just ignored. It was working really good but when i started doing my assignments and using office it keep restarting by itself saying oops something went wrong. Its a problem that i saw in the previous reviews and it happened with me too. going to change it for sure with same model . let's give it an another try. because i do like it . ;) FIX THE PROBLEM thats all

loved it works great i haven't had any issues with it.

Doubles as a laptop/tablet, still trying to figure out how to bring up touch screen keyboard while in tablet mode. May not be an option. Otherwise, easy to use. Nice size for travel.

The Asus two in one laptop computer works great. I've just switched from a mac so it took a little getting used to, but after that there have been no problems.

After returning several other laptops (chromebooks) of various brands, I decided to go with a standard windows based laptop. So far, so good.

The specs on this sounded good. The salesperson said he sells tons of Asus, so I went with this. Took it home, charged it, spent 2 hours getting it all set up. Then screen went black, wouldn't turn on. Went online, this is a common issue. Called Asus, went thru their troubleshooting steps, still won't turn on. They suggested I pay for shipping and send it to them to repair. Didn't even have it 6 hours and already broke. 700 piece of junk.

I purchased this 2-in-1 after reading many glowing reviews. I was sadly disappointed. I have had an Asus prior to this. It lasted 6 years before it began have issues and I loved it so I went back for seconds. I purchased this one from Bestbuy.com. When it I arrived I opened it and turned it on, checked an email or two and then turned it off because I had to go. I was super excited about it. When I got back and tried to use it again it would not connect to the internet. I took it into the store and found out it had an internal failure issue. It did not even recognize that it had the hardware to internet connect. The store immediatly replaced it with a new one. I got home and it worked well. I was having trouble installing MicroSoft office. I got assistance from MS support. They remote fixed Office. This took forever and I was told they had to un-install/ re-install some drivers. Used it for a day... Again. Now the backlighted keyboard wont work. I tried everything, including the steps sent to me by Asus support. Now it is back at the Geek Squad. They called to tell me it was fixed. When i showed up.... It is still not back lit. It is still there a day later. If it doesnt work this time or if I have anymore issues with it I am going to just return it for something else. I like Asus, I just think it is a bad product. The problem could potentially be that the 2-in-1 is too new to have worked all the kinks out yet.

After a day of receiving comp when I flipped it into tablet or tent mode screen doesn't rotate ! I Called Asus who has great customer service she walked me thru downloading drivers. This is the seconds Asus that stopped working one me at least I was able to return this one. After a day it did it again, took it back to Best Buy, ordered dell 2 in 1 i7, hopefully it's better !

Fast startup. User friendly. Only complaint is with Windows 10 apps not installing.

Bought for school and to do some web surfing plus gaming and I love it the tablet feature works great as well. I'd say it's a win!
