I bought this laptop to use for my extra uses when away from my desktop such as while on vacation, my addiction to fishing forums and my Nascar following and it is beyond what I expected. Completely user friendly and the tablet mode makes it easier and more enjoyable to use! THX ASUS!!!

I bought this notebook on 4/3/16 and used it for only 1 week before I started having issues with the kryboard when in tablet mode. When I tried to type in the keyboard, it started "running a script" and showed /6=0p]]]]]]]]]]]] and the "]" keeps repeating. ASUS support could not fix the problem. On my 2nd call to the support desk within 10 minutes, they had me do a complete system restore. He told me to call back if that didn't work. He could not stay on the phone to see if the restore worked. I would not recommend this device to anyone.

The salesman was excellent. I am not a computer type in that i am not very knowledgeable about the various products on the market. The salesman, who assisted me was able to meet my needs to an affordable and quality product. The gentleman is truly an asset to the organization.

Asus came out with a nice looking, good product. Compared to some of the other well-known brands like Samsung,Toshiba, and Apple this is a really well-priced machine. All the components are the same, so I just can't justify paying a more premium price for a name.

I'm no geek, but I read and researched whatever I could find before purchasing this laptop. For my family, it seems to be a good choice for what I wanted to spend and has the features I was looking for. Now if it can last a while, I'll be pretty happy.

This laptop is really well designed. Upgradable ram to 12gb. It comes with 4gb integrated to the board and a 4gb chip ddr3. That chip is upgradable to 8gb giving you a total of 12gb. The more the merrier! That is your ability for multitasking.

I love this laptop. It has every feature that I could possibly want. I initially bought a Dell because that is what my desktop is. The Dell failed within days and I returned it. Glad i did because I would never have found this one.

I like the thin light weight design. It stays cool on my lap. The picture quality is better than I had hoped. Love it.

constantly annoyed by web storage and ms office fly outs and I would say so far that windows 10 is a no go

I wasn't looking for a top of the line laptop, just one that gets me by. It is very compact, but not what I would choose for the business world.

This is our first ASUS brand purchase as it was recommended by an HP salesperson. Overall the computer serves its purpose as a relatively light weight laptop. However, there seems to be an issue with wireless/wifi connectivity. Whenever I disconnect the wireless access and decide to turn it back on, the laptop cannot detect local Wifi signals. I always end up having to shut down and restarting the computer for it to detect wireless networks.

For the price you pay its a pretty good laptop. Wish Best Buy would let you customize though like other retailers. One size doesn't fit all.

Unfortunately, I bought an open box thinking it was just an open box. But it was refurbished & it died as soon as I turned it on. Just like the previous owners. So I bought a new one instead. Stay away from open boxes.

This laptop is...OK. It does what I need it to do, really just the basics. I don't do crazy, advanced stuff, which it probably could handle though. My main complaints are that it will sometimes spontaneously close by browsing window, and that the trackpad is way too sensitive. Other than that, it works well enough but is nothing special. My last computer was a mac, which was far superior, but also far more expensive.

Solid computer that runs smoothly. Great backlit keyboard with multiple brightness settings for easy use in low-light. The machine is powerful enough for every day use and small time video-editing as well.

Overall a nice unit. My only complaint is that the speakers could be better. Even with the volume all the way up,it is sometimes hard to hear. I would recommend external speakers when you are at home base.

I LIKE IT, BUT IT IS TROUBLESOME WITH WINDOWS 10. IT IS NOT COOL TO HAVE A GOOD COMPUTER AND HAVE PROBLEMS WITH MICROSOFT

I'm a fan of ASUS products and this computer is everything I thought it would be.

I had another item in mind befor talking to one of the reps about what it would be used for, and she made a great call.

I am still learning about the new features of this computer. It is a vast improvement over my previous laptop.
