Got this laptop for $1199 as a black friday deal and I feel its completely worth that price considering the specs it is offering. Being a student this laptop serves great for my work and also allows me to do some gaming in my leisure time. It is a complete package. I found few cons which were not even close to becoming deal breakers for me. I was aware of those but still went ahead with the buy. - Trackpad does not give a good navigation feel - Subwoofer which I got with this piece does not work. Found this problem across most asus products. - Not that heavy but bulky to be used in tablet mode. - Fingerprints are clearly visible on the body of the laptop. Pros: Specs and Performance

This Laptop has plenty of power and loads extremely fast. The 4k touch screen is amazing.

This computer has done all I've asked of it! As a casual user looking to update outdated equipment, I turned to this laptop as it had the best value to me. The 4k display and HDMI port were important to me as I won't upgrade again for some time. The SSD makes it lightning fast, but the SATA drive allows me to save a lot of files locally as well. I would have preferred to have a smaller bezel around the screen, but I still award 5 stars since I knew exactly what the bezel looked like before purchasing.

I use this for school work as well as gaming and also watch videos on it. The quality of the resolution is awesome, the graphics card could be a bit better but that is the only complaint i have for this model

I was a little skeptical at first to use this for AutoCAD and Mastercam work since it didn't have a Quadro video card. However, the GeForce card in here does a fantastic job with any engineering software I've thrown at it. Autocad 2014 is especially picky about graphics cards, but this thing handles itself perfectly. We've been using it for a few weeks now and no issues so far. It's fast booting with the SSD drive, crazy amounts of storage with the 2TB hard drive. Just hard to beat.

I love how fast and easy this laptop is to use! The touch screen feature is great and I use it in all my client consults.

Outstanding performance and zero complaints to date. Fast processing that i habe yet to fully max out. Highly recommend!

Solid performance no matter what I throw at this machine. Handles multiple open Adobe multimedia programs like Premere, After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator. Eliminates having to save and close one program to open another. Nvidia graphic card handles smoothly with the lad test game releases. Don't use the notebook mode and would use caution due to the keyboard is left exposed when screen is flipped using tablet mode. Haven't had any issues just something to be aware of.

The computer is fast and cool to touch. The display is very good. I wish the battery last a bit longer than 3 hours.

Paid 3 times what I would normally pay for a laptop but functionality is much greater than I would have normally gotten. First time for a touch screen function and only used a few times - prefer my detached logitech keyboard. Screen size and resolution is excellent. 2 TB hard drive was a MUST so options were limited. Liked my first ASUS so went back for the same brand. Really need to get internal hard drive capacity up to 5 TB range .

Very happy with this machine so far (3+ months). SSD makes system disk fast, and 2TB hard drive has plenty of space for data. The 4K screen is wonderful for editing photos, watching videos, etc.

This computer is very fast on everything from startup to opening programs. It is easy to adjust to personal preferences such as brightness. The Windows 10 methods of operation are reasonably easy to learn. I have been a Best Buy customer for years and they were very supportive in my search for this computer. I haven't had to call on them for any tech aid but the people at Asus have been great and they speak highly of Best Buy.

Well I got this after taking a Lenovo Yoga back due to it constantly losing network connection. Too bad because that one was light, silver and had long battery life. This was a complete change but I needed something for school which started this week. PROS: Great specs two hard drives so plenty of speed on boot and plenty of space for stuff good screen (maybe not as good as the one on the Lenovo) Plenty of ports including Thunderbolt although I'm not sure what kind of Thunderbolt it is, new or old. CONS: weight (heavy to be considered a 2 in 1 laptop category) TOUCHPAD - This IS THE BIG ONE! First it is very slick, like glass. Strange feeling but one anyone could eventually get used to. The problem is that the responsiveness of the touchpad is weird to say the least. Sometimes your cursor just goes crazy and using two fingers to scroll doesn't work nearly as well as on the Lenovo Yoga 910 which I think also had what they call a "precision trackpad". Honestly, they need a driver update to address poor trackpad performance. Something as basic as two finger scrolling should not require endless tweaking in the settings app to get acceptable performance. I really hope ASUS checks these reviews and fixes this issue.

Cords just seem to get shorter and shorter. This model has one less USB port than my last one. If you use a USB mouse and plug in the remote optical drive they’re all in use. Miss the built-in DVD drive. Have yet to get any sound from the remote sub-woofer, seems I didn’t push hard enough, it kicked in on an organ CD after I updated the audio driver. The display failed on my first laptop after 10 days. The gal at the service desk offered to replace it without batting an eye and asked if I wanted to try another model--that seemed ominous. Floor staff took 15 minutes to get under counter storage unlocked and finally find a replacement in the warehouse. The display is crisp and has very good latitude. The solid state drive boots extremely rapidly. However access to the 2 T hard drive can be slow and when scrolling through picture files in full screen mode there is often a distinct delay factor before the next file is displayed, also pages in an e-Book. I’m not a fan of Windows 10 but so far I’ve gotten it to run most of my favourite software. The lack of an included DVD player is a distinct negative. One of many attempts to extract additional revenue from the consumer. Discovered that Microsoft no longer makes Encarta Encyclopedia or Streets and Trips a fact of which my sales agent was unaware. Still dealing with the crapware that comes with this machine. Asus offers gifts that prove to be trial softwares that need to be bought--some gift. The delete button is too close to the home key on this model for my liking.

Never owned an ASUS brand laptop. My previous one I replaced is an older DELL laptop. It was a very good laptop since it lasted about 8 years. I hope this ASUS lasts just as long. This particular one is certainly a great one! With 2TB of hard drive space and a 512SSD, this laptop covers all my storage needs. Boot up is way faster due to the SSD drive. This laptop is very well built....have had no issues since I bought it about 2 months ago.
