I replaced my not very old ASUS UX 501, mainly for 2 reasons: 1. Backlit in UX 501 is not very good with strong light 2. Disk capacity is limited to 512 MB This ASUS Q534UX beats in this two features my previous laptop: 1. The black keyboard makes the backlit look great, no matter what 2. The 2 TB hard disk, gives you plenty of space to save large files (video) Additionally: 1. Hinges are great, with full 360 degrees capability 2. Best in class WiFi connectivity PS. I love the ASUS UX 501, except for those 2 things, but my children whom now are using it, have not complains at all.

I purchased this for dependability and storage. It has both with all of the new features that I still have to get to know. Looking forward to putting it to the test.

This laptop looks great. Good dedicated processor and ssd drive. The not so good is the fan noise and heavy weight. But overall a really good laptop.

I love this laptop very fast only draw backs are if your trying to run some programs the graphics card doesnt work but you could change it if you run into these issues

The laptop was larger than my prior laptop, but it has to be in order to fit all of the processing and storage into it. It is easy to get used to and very powerful.

I bought this laptop when my MacBook from college finally died. I love it so much more than my MacBook! It is incredibly fast and has great features.

This is a fast model, great for game playing. My only regret was not checking that it did not have a CD drive, for the price, you'd thought it would.

Massive storage space and an excellent screen. I do linux kernel development and this laptop works great with VMware!

Good computer, but one problem. After been on for a while it starts to freeze. Haven't been able to figure out the problem. Over all a good pc.

This laptop meets all my needs and is a joy to use. After a few hours of use the touch screen is just automatic. I also game abit and the results are amazing.

Love this laptop. Can't beat the price either. At first I didn't think I would like the touch screen, but now I find myself at work trying to touch the screen.

i needed to update my laptop and ASUS filled the bill plus 28 days later it went on sale and got another $200 off . It's fast and has plenty of storage space

I needed a laptop with the 10 key built in, this laptop is pretty light weight, battery life is what it says it is. So far it has meant all my expectations.

I bought this without the intention of buying it. It's amazing fast and has awesome features. But the gaming is what you expect from a laptop

Functionally this is a great, fast computer. With the SSD, the start up is quick and with 2T of additional storage there is little else to desire. It out performs my premium tower. Battery life is acceptable when you consider this is a high end machine with a 4K screen. My only complaint is purely aesthetic. The mat black finish looks great but picks up fingerprints like crazy. I have tried car wax and auto detailer which helps with the problem, but it still has to be cleaned regularly. Otherwise I would buy this computer again in a minute.

great computer for advanced artwork. i needed a new computer for my college artwork - animation, etc., and this computer seems to have exactly what i need.

This product is a lot of bang for your buck. Pros are great responsiveness and lots of power. Cons are that the touch screen is a little awkward - the versitility from tablet to laptop is not as fluid as I would like. It's pretty much one or the other. Also, the keyboard on the outside when in tablet mode is odd. I am afraid there may be a duribility problem there. The keyboard doesn't seem designed to take that kind of wear. Ultimately, I am happy so far but still getting use to it. Not a major fan of Windows 10. Navigation is a pain.

apart from a few usability issues- power and volume buttons on the side. accompanying external speaker not working after driver upgrades

We purchased this computer thinking that it was the latest and greatest after our 1 year old Spectre crashed. Only after trying to use Quickbooks did we see that words were sqooshed together and the max/min/close icons were rediculously small and hard to see. The start-up for all Office programs are also super small. I would not recommend this for a business computer but there is not too many out there with solid state and a numeric keypad!

I have had this laptop for 6 months. It works great. User friendly with many good features. Great backlit keyboard, fast, boots up very fast. I love it.
