If it has to stay plugged in all the time what's the point. Also my desktop I built in 2006 is faster. it went back and I built a new more powerful desktop for less money (that's a micro atx build and portable)

This looks to be a great 2-in-1. The site lists it as $200 cheaper for the open-box: Open-Box Excellent Product looks brand new and includes all original parts and accessories. When I opened the sealed box at the store after pick-up the screen was covered with finger prints and more important - there was no power supply! Customer service looked at the box label and it indicated that. Why was the web site wrong? They did process the return right then so it only cost me 30 minutes in the store and 30 minutes driving.

Bought an open box version from Bestbuy. com and had it shipped to my home. It was not the best.Track pad was faulty and there was food pieces stuck to keyboard ,shut down randomly and there was food? on the outside and keyboard (yuck)Returned and still looking. I may try another one of this model in the future. Reviews and Specs look great. Maybe it was just the one I got.My local Bestbuy Store was great with the return.

First off, I purchased this open box, at a price lower than online, and am pleased with the laptop, it looks great, the screen is nice, the keyboard layout does take a bit to get used to, but there are a couple things that keep this from 5 stars. I bought it mostly as an upgrade to my very old laptop, with some video editing and light gaming in the mix. The good: This machine is fast, and I think for all the memory space, it's fairly light. The screen simply looks great, 4k for the win! Easily handles multitasking. Love the option to switch to tablet mode, but it is a bit awkward. The bad: The sound/speakers, maybe I just got an oddball, but the speakers seem to cut out, then back in, especially while typing. The little bass speaker that came with it, it simply doesn't work. The keyboard is kind of tightly together, takes some time to get used to. The trackpad, it is a bit slick, and sensitive! Doesn't take much to have your cursor jump around. Fingerprints/smudges, they get all over the finish, not sure if they make a case for this model, it's not a big deal, but something to think about. Overall, I'm not sure if I would shell out full price for this new, because once you get into the $1500 neighborhood, you have a pretty good selection. However, with this, you get 7th gen i7 Core, 16 GB RAM, 2.5 TB storage, and 4k display, so...not sure where you can get those specs for the same price! Definitely not on a Mac! I've had this for about 2 weeks, and hoping it serves me well for the next 3-5 years.

Asus typically makes a good laptop this one was not though very well 4 K is a good resolution for games and watching movies 4K makes the programs look so small you can't hardly see the commands and when you change the resolution then screen looks like you are running a computer from earlier 1990 horrible will not recommend

Simply put this machine gives you more than anything in its price range. I was going back and forth between this and the Surface Book, but for my needs there was no way to justify the price difference (I do not work with graphics). I replaced a Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro with an I7 and this is noticeably faster. The 2TB archive drive is great. It is a little heavier than the Yoga but far sturdier and I can still hold it easily in one hand. The battery life isn't fantastic but it is good enough. The sound is surprising with the little external speaker. Also, it has a Windows Hello compatible web cam so you can log in with your face if you want to. It even seems to transition between laptop and tablet without a problem - I know some reviewers have had a problem with that.

Asus may be known for having great hardware but after finding 3 different model numbers associated with my laptop and too many options to download the wrong drivers, I decided to get a Razer.

This computer was one of the three that I purchased this month (July) from Best Buy that malfunctioned, I will probably never buy anything from Best Buy again.

This product made it two weeks in a very simple environment then began to drop drivers and ultimately would no longer function. The laptop was returned.

Bought this computer at 2pm return 6pm. Computer has great features. Unfortunately , it got stuck in the set up kept freezing up.

We were not happy with this laptop. Returned it for a Dell.

The Laptop did not work so had to return it and buy a Dell Computer.
