This is a slick stationary laptop- a bit big and heavy to carry around, but portable enough within the house. Love the backlit keys. AND is still has a DVD drive so we can use our Rosetta stone disks to learn Spanish.

Well built and sturdy computer. More than ample processing and memory. Touch screen is nice as well.

I bought this computer to replace a 10 year old Toshiba that finally died. I did not think I would like Windows 10 but it great. This computer comes with voice recognition which is awesome. Once you learn the commands you almost don't have to touch the keyboard. This model has a HD screen which is bright and clear. Makes photo editing a breeze. So far it has been a totally awesome computer that I would highly recommend.

Great computer. This is the second ASUS computer I have owned and always found them to be of excellent quality. The computer does not get hot and is comfortable to use on your lap. I was initially concerned about purchasing a computer with Windows 10 but this has not been an issue.

I have always used HP's and wanted to try something different. It's a little slow starting up and when the screen times out also. Other than that I like it. I am not a novice by far...just sharing my experience.

I love the computer. I bought it for work but my work programs do not work with Windows 10 only 8.1. I went back to Best Buy to see if I can buy Windows 8.1 and have the geek squad install. I found out that Best Buy does not sell Windows 8.1 and I was told to purchase it elsewhere and bring it to them and they will install it. I did and can't wait for it to arrive so I can use this great computer for work.

Exchanged three times. I tried three different units because I like the features but each unit I tried had a problem with the SD card drive (it keeps closing file explorer while viewing the SD card. The laptop also changed the date and time on me by itself despite of the correct setting. I went over with the manufacturer's technical support and did a series of trouble shooting including resetting the laptop and re-install windows 10 as well as boothing in safe mode but ended up with the same issue. It appears that the batch of units I exchanged had an issue with the SD card drive. In the end, I exchanged the laptop with a different brand with similar features. As of this writing, the new exchanged laptop has been performing as advertised.

easy to use, fits on my lap and doesn't slip off. I like it.. this unit was purchased on the recommendation of a Best Buy manager and it was a good choice. I like the fact it has a disk drive for cd's and it was difficult to find one that would take dvd's and cd's

Its a great device, lots of RAM, LOTS of drive space and the keyboard lights up at night. The large screen is also very helpful. The only thing I would change is the On/Off button being on the left side, it's an awkward place and I'm always hitting it on accident.

Bought this computer for my daughter in college. It's fast and a great computer

I really like this laptop. It's pretty and sleek. I love the layout with the touchpad centered on the keyboard, not laptop. Works fast. My only issue is the placement of the power button. I often accidentally hit it when trying to reposition the laptop.

Overall I like the computer. The screen and keyboard are good. The hard drive is a little slow and takes a while to start up. I am considering putting in a SSD to speed it up. The 12 Gig of Ram is adequate but am looking to upgrade to 16. I run a couple of VMs and they each take up 4 Gig so I run out of memory quick. My biggest complaint is the location of the power button. Other laptops I have had owned have the power button in the keyboard. This model has the power button on the left edge. When I adjust the laptop at my desk I frequently put the unit to sleep.
