This is a good case of you get what you pay for. I initially was hesitant about buying this monitor, as it seemed outside of my budget, but a strong recommendation from a friend of mine convinced me to get it. My only complaint is that the stand seems week so the screen wobbles easily. Other than that the picture is great and the screen is responsive.

Has very good picture, although it takes some custom tweaking to adjust. Menu system is not easiest to work with and coupled with the very flimsy stand it can be difficult as the monitor sways. Once you have it set up, do not touch. Any movement causes the display to sway. If it had a solid base, I would raise the rating to 4. But at $149 for 24" with very fast 1ms, trade-offs are to be expected.

I have been using the monitor for 6 weeks and am very pleased. I use it daily in my well lit office and it has a very bright and sharp picture. I would buy another.

This is the best gaming monitor for the money. The response time is what sold me on this one. I have been very happy with gaming results and the quality you get.

As someone who games a lot, I needed a new monitor after my Samsung was getting older. This is easily one of the best purchases I have made. Pros: Response Time: 1ms 2 HDMI Excellent Picture Quality -Different picture settings available Different options in the Menu for Customizing Smaller frame PRICE! Bought this at Best Buy for $180. My Samsung was $400... For less than half the price, this monitor is not only financially better, but it was better than the overpriced Samsung! Cons: Since there is a lot in the Menu, it can be hard to figure out how to do everything.

Monitor has crisp picture and very easy to set up. Fast response great with gaming.

This monitor has a 1ms access time. It's lightning fast and fabulous. I have it in a tri-monitor setup. Yes, 3 of them. Excellent gaming quality. No Lag.

This is a good monitor with a non-glare screen with produces a good picture quality. The non-glare screen helps to reduce eye strain and makes games and videos easier to see,

We wanted a monitor that would use our pc system's HDMI port out. We love the quality of the screen's output. We always trust the ASUS brand.

The pixel density is fantastic and the color quality is spot on. I have mutiple monitor configuration and this is the best of the three.

Very happy with these! They are just below the newer 3D ones which have a significant price jump. Mounted up easily for my triple monitor landscape setup. They work well for this. No logos or wide borders surrounding the screen itself, so the screens join together pretty much seamlessly. Great monitor, especially for the price.

For the money you really can't do much better than the picture quality of this monitor. Very fast motion rate and outstanding contrast. Colors jump off the screen with vibrancy. Sure spend more and you'll probably get more of a monitor...somehow...this does so much so well why bother. Great and recommended wholeheartedly!

Can't say enough about this monitor, great for gaming or any other use you might have. Have had it about a month now and no problems. All pixels worked right from the start, response time is awesome and picture quality couldn't be any better. This is my first 24 inch monitor and if I were to buy another it would be this one.

I was fortunate to obtain this Asus monitor on sale, so I can't say enough about how happy I am with it (based on what I paid). The quality of the picture is most excellent, and that's what counts. And there are more features than I know what to do with. On the negative side, the base seems cheap and my particular monitor tends to lean slightly; the sound quality is only passable (figure on needing an external sound system if you want something decent; the buttons for features are placed in a slightly difficult back-of-the-monitor location, plus access to the ports on the rear is not easy. But with all that said, I still recommend this monitor if you can get it at a good price. It performs well and delivers exactly what a monitor should: It displays a great picture!

I needed a secondary monitor for my home system. In choosing the Asus - 23.6" LED HD Monitor I received a better than anticipated value. The price was great and the product is excellent. The images are crisp and clear with optimum color. I would purchase this product again if in the market for another monitor.
