    My husband likes to play video games. He noticed that his old monitor was a few seconds behind in the video. He just did not see the action until it was to late to react. This was like being in a car race without enough power. He research monitors for about a month. I got his choice from Best Buy for a present from me. The process is a breeze and I earned bonus points.

    Awesome 3D. Does not come with Nvidia 3D Vision Kit. 144hz mode is for 2D only. All 3D gets forced to 120hz mode. Had a stuck pixel in blue. I was able to rub it out on the soft matte screen.

    For those of you who read my review of the ASUS MX279H, I apologize. While the picture quality is great, the refresh rate got to me after a couple more gaming sessions. The final straw was an hour long session of BF4 on the PC. I got severe eye fatigue and had to stop. It may be just me but I had to get a monitor with the higher refresh rate. I'm glad I spent the extra ~$100 for this 144hz monitor. I've had it for almost 2 weeks and finally have a keeper. The picture quality is very close to the IPS panel of the other ASUS. I commend Best Buy for their price matching and for not giving me a hassle on returning the other 2 monitors I bought over the past month.

    I needed another monitor because the screen my other one was getting blacker & blacker & took up to an hour to show up then work fine all day. As a bonus this Asus monitor swivels & also has height adjustment along with tilt which I love & my old Gateway monitor didn't,
