This is my first IPS monitor. It's really nice although it was a bit expensive. Very sharp and clear, great color reproduction and viewing angle. The controls for settings take a bit of getting used to. I haven't had any problem with light bleed as some have reported and the screen is very uniform. And it's FAST! Great for gaming.

Insane is what I thought, when I shelled out the money for this monitor, but what I got is spectacular! Crisp, sharp, no blur, no tearing, all while running 2560 x 1440 res. Tested on various games and blown away by its ability to execute. Compared to my old monitor, this thing is a Ferrari!

This monitor goes great with a gtx 1080 graphics card at max 1440p settings. I didn't think it was that amazing at first, but then I changed my display back to my 60hz 4k tv and was really annoyed at how hard it was to run games smoothly. With the Gsync of the monitor and high refresh rate you really don't ever have games play choppy. The game controls when playing on the monitor don't lag like with a tv when the graphics card is under 60 fps. Gsync Works great and this is a resolution a gtx 1080 can play at without dialing in the perfect settings. You just select high or ultra, and play. But, some customers have bad backlight bleeding. I don't normally notice those things but mine had some of it too. However, my backlight bleed was small enough that when dark scenes were shown it wasn't in your face trashing the scene, and I would have been stingy to return the monitor for that.

I have been wanting a new gaming monitor for a couple years now. I am a system builder and I have paid a lot of attention to my computer and not so much to the monitor I was using. 1080p gaming still looks great, but upgrading to a higher resolution and higher refresh can make newer games look even better. You're going to need a decent video card to go max settings on this thing but its well worth it. This monitor looks amazing with my setup. Its a little on the expensive side mainly due to the G Sync chip inside, but I do not regret my purchase at all.

I game and also do photo editing . For gaming in WOW it’s flawless with big colors that just pop , in Battlefield and COD it’s super smooth and responsive beyond anything I have used amazing color and black scale , so much more realistic than my other 144hz asus monitor I use to use . For photo editing it’s spot on , colors are exact and all the black tones make your photos look life like . A must for a gamer or photographer . This monitor is not some cheap piece of trash . It is worth every penny and more .

Bought this to compliment and to take advantage of my new RTX GPU and G-Sync. Game play is great without experiencing screen tears. Also tried this monitor with a PS4 Pro and Xbox One X; display is very crisp and clear. Although the price may seem high for about a 3+ year old monitor (at the time of this writing); it still holds up its value and is worth it. Treat yourself, don't cheat yourself and buy this monitor if you're on the fence.

Upgraded my monitor to this. G-sync works well. It is expensive. Try and catch it on sale.

Colors are awesome, great for gaming, no back light bleeding, been using it for a month now, love it.

I have (2) of these monitors replacing (2) Asus 24" VG248 monitors. Huge difference obviously, bright colors, clear, sharp, 144Hz overclockable to 165Hz, and luckily my monitor's BLB and glow are minimal so I have no real issues with the monitors. I play various games FPS, RTS, MMO, web development and programming which these monitors provide a great display, and occasionally watch movies. If you're in the market to upgrade from TN to IPS these are a great choice (also see disclaimer below). *** NOT A MONITOR ISSUE *** The one thing to note which from what I've researched and tested is these are G-Sync monitors and currently Nvidia drivers after 391.35 provide you with a nice BSOD for KMode Exception Not Handled. I'm still in the process of testing whether the issue occurs with G-Sync disabled, but one of the reasons you buy these monitors is for the G-Sync capabilities and if you have to disable it to play new games with the latest drivers just isn't acceptable. If you're not familiar with what G-Sync is you might consider other monitors or do some research on G-Sync to see if it's worth the extra cost. I do believe the issue is known and they are working to fix it, but as of 5 driver releases for EVGA cards I've seen no fix yet. All in all a great monitor and if you're looking to urgrade you won't be disappointed.

If you have a Nvidia gpu and wanna spend the cash in gsync this is an awesome monitor. The speakers suck but that are there incase you need them. The colors... OMG the colors are awesome on this thing. From black to neon pink they are almost too vivid. This monitor gets all 5 stars imo. The turbo boost to 165hz just puts the cherry on the top for me.

I think it’s a good 1440p monitor. But if you have the extra money, go 4K instead.

It’s simply the boss of gaming monitors. Remember to use the display cable and not the HDMI one. Display cable allows you to over lock and enable G-Sync. Great monitor! Worth every penny! Especially if you get it on sale and get a price match afterwards like I did!

Great viewing angles, a massive amount of screen space, and glorious colors/details. The OSD controls are really nice and intuitive, even though responsiveness can be a bit clunky at times. The only thing keeping this from being a 5 star review is there being a very minor amount of backlight bleed in the bottom left corner of the screen, but not enough to where it detracts from the using experience for me.

First of all I was skeptical about the qa issues that these guys had but I've had no issues. Very minimal blb and gsync is amazing. Can't describe in words because you must see it in person. Videos and pictures do no justice. Great monitor and definitely recommended.

I love this monitor, it is truely the King of All Kings of monitors. The screen is very rich in detail. It was a pain setting it up for the first time. I just love it the best monitor out there. I wish it wasn't so expensive but again you get what you pain for.

I didn't realize buying a new monitor could improve performance so much. Just having gsync where I don't have to run vsync gives me probably 30%-40% more fps. Looks amazing. Wish I had a second one.

I upgraded to this 2k 165hz refresh rate monitor from a 1080p 60 hz refresh rate monitor and at first I could not be any happier. The monitor comes setup. The controls on it are super easy to use. I overclocked mine very easily and the colors are vivid and ready to go straight out of the box. The change from my old monitor helped immensely in my gaming and it was like no experience I ever had before. However, after about a month and change of using this monitor I am starting to see slight things that I didn't when I first got this. I have a white line that appears on screen horizontally when playing certain games. It does usually go away on its own but it is distracting and annoying especially during intense gaming sessions. I just hope that with time it doesn't get worse. Although this may seem small to some people I feel for an $800 monitor this should not be happening. But other than that I do recommend this monitor because the pros far outweigh the cons.
