It is thinner than the 24 inch monitor that it replaced. With the built in speakers I can connect my directv box to it and watch tv with it. Great color. Lot of adjustments. Very happy that I got it.

My son chose this monitor to put in his bedroom. He currently has wii u connected to it and he plans to connect his laptop and eventually the computer we will build together. Exellant quality overall.

Picked up this monitor when my old 21 inch died. Price was right. The display looks crisp and my HD streaming looks real nice. I am not using the built in speakers instead using my own externals.

I have a small T-100 Lap Top and needed a monitor to use with it. This was a great price and the resolution from the T-100 to this monitor is great.

I was debating between this screen and a comparable HP screen which had a higher price tag. So far the screen has worked great, no complaints with the colors, resolution, etc.

I love the size but am a bit disappointed that the resolution isn't a bit higher. I finally gave up trying to use the built-in speakers when the control button quit working. This is probably not a big deal based on other reviews but I'll never know.

Needed to replace monitor for my gamer son. After doing on line research made this purchase and it is just as advertised. Crystal clear visuals, handles the speed of the games and is a great value!!

Very nice screen for the everyday work person. Large format to actually see entire pages. 1080P for those videos/movies. Onboard Speaker system within screen...nice touch.

Love the Asus Monitor! Work for a real estate firm and I use it on the desk for presentations! Many of our associations are using the same monitor and are thrilled with it!

This display is worth its cost, I use it connected to two different computers very convenient using the dual HDMI inputs. Noticeably better on the desktop computer with separate graphic card.

I did alot of recearch for monitors, i wanted mainly for gaming it have a game mode and other modes, great graphic pictures great size really happy with this monitor, totally recommend it.

I sit in front of a computer for at least 8+ hours a day and often had trouble seeing my reports with my 23 inch screen so when it went out I upgraded to a 27 inch and it has been the best decision I have made. When I upsize the resolution, I can still see all my report without part of it being cut off. The lettering is clear and I do not have to strain to read fine print.

Was looking for an upgrade from a 23" Samsung & after a little research chose this Asus. Would have preferred a monitor with 2560x1440 or higher resolution but those are out of my price range. Looks great & does everything I need. Also, it's a PnP monitor so no disk or driver is supplied or required.

This is the first time I have bought an ASUS monitor and have been very pleased with it. I purchased it to go along with the DELL desktop I purchased and have had no problems with it.

Very good color reproduction, low latency, and a cool optical menu button setup. The bad: My fat fingers don't get along with the optical switches too well. Luckily I never have to use them.

Looks amazing and it's a very good price! You totally get what you pay for and more! PS3 & PS4 look incredible on this monitor! Input lag is minimized to basically nothing! Great monitor!!

Initially I researched and settled on this monitor to replace an old TV that I was using for my xbox one. I loved it so much that when it went on deal ($169.99) I had to buy another one to replace my current pc monitor. In terms of gaming this monitor is perfect. I was concerned because I would be stepping down from a 37" to this 27". I've found that I don't miss the extra size... in fact it's easier to game on as my eyes don't have to track as far across the screen. Further, I have found very little input lag and quick pixel response times... which is exactly what I was looking for. The colors are sharp and clear, blacks and greys appear in better detail than my old TV. If you have an console I highly recommend this monitor. I sit anywhere from 3 to 6 feet away and have no problem seeing detail... it's perfect for a desk setup. As I mentioned I ended up buying a second unit when it went on sale to replace my actual pc monitor. I have them both sitting on my desk next to each other (both hooked up to my computer) and I end up running movies on one, while working on the other. I have no problems watching movies or any sort of action.. as with the gaming it is a clear and blur free image. You will need to fiddle with the settings on the monitor to suit your taste. If you google you will find a ton of information on how to do that, and what settings are 'optimal'. TL;DR Great monitor for gaming. Low input lag and quick pixel response. Great color reproduction. Good for movies and general pc use too. Plus it will look amazing on your desk.

The monitor compliments the computer very well. Together they are super fast and deliver the rez I would have had to pay over $2.000.00 to achieve as I use this mostly for Ps and Ai.

Use 2 of these monitors everyday and they have a sharp picture and no glare. Great product

I had a few other large screen monitors but this one is by far the best I've seen. The clarity and brightness are beyond compare, I highly recommend it and it is also a very good bargain
