Good monitor for any type of use. Replaced an old Hanns G screen with this one and the display is a lot better.

No glare screen, overhead office lights don’t reflect off the screen Crystal clear no distortion

I have owned a lot of different monitors. The design of these are amazing and are great to look at even when they are off. Once they come on the colors are nice and vibrant and there is zero lag when gaming. It is a way to get the glossy look on a monitor without that annoying glare. I have two of these on my desk now and only wish I had gotten them sooner. I was able to find them on sale at 250 but even 300 is still a good deal if you need large high quality monitors.

This is a very good gaming monitor as it has fast respone time. I upgraded from a 27" led tv. The color is vibrant. The only minor complaint is, the screen isn't very bright, but after a while your eyes will adjust to it after some setting adjustment. Overall I love this monitor and looking to purchase a second one.

Its sleek very responsive and just overall looks great sitting on the desk. Don't hesitate to buy this monitor.

I don't game or do image processing. Crisp text. Nice matte (low reflective) screen. Using with 2015 13" macbook pro in clamshell mode connected via hdmi, zero setup problems. Great speakers! Stylish/frameless/tiltable. No native VESA but there is a 3rd party adapter to a VESA mount on Amazon.

This monitor was amazing until after about 2 weeks it started to cause crashes where pixelated lines would appear on the screen I feared this was caused by driver issues, poor cpu cooling, or even bad ram but after careful readings of reviews on both newegg and here i'm seeing it's a common issue amongst users who purchase this monitor I'll attach an image of the issue, i'm going to try to return it to best buy for store credit as it hasn't been 30 days although is past my 15 days and if they don't give me store credit i will refuse to purchase another product from best buy again. which will hurt them more then me considering my credit card balance with them. I will not purchase another monitor from this company again either. I don't even want to attempt rma through the manufacturer after all the poor reviews i'm reading in regards to customer service.

Monitor is a really good size for gaming and has a very sharp picture.

I was looking for a good quality monitor on a budget, and boy did i find one! it has built in speakers, which do a good job for everyday usage, dont anticipate on jamming out to music with them as they do have limitations. But the picture is excellent and they are of high quality.

I use this monitor to complete work at home on my office laptop, It is crystal clear - fabulous picture.

I was looking for a monitor under the price of $250 dollars when I went out shopping for monitors. I was really leaning towards getting the LG 29 inch ultra wide (since the 34UM95 is WAY too expensive) but after seeing 29? inch ultra wide in store, I decided the vertical screen real estate was just to small for me. This MX279H was also on display, and it felt like the perfect temporary solution until I could save up enough to get a 34UM95.

The colors are beautiful, perfect size. I highly recommend it!!

Great size, picture quality, smooth. Use it for high graphics games like Far Cry 4. External sound is only ok despite Band & Olufsen label.

Purchased this monitor to go with another ASUS monitor for side by side use. Provides awesome picture and has great features for the price. Colors better than other monitors, small edge frame and comes with speakers. Quality is great, may purchase one more for three monitor setup.

Using as a second monitor for work laptop(dual monitor). Not only does it have speakers built in, but has multiple inputs(hdmi included). The speakers are just ok from a sound quality perspective, but the quality of picture/contrast ratio for the money is a great value.
