    A very awesome little burner and what a good price. One I got home I slipped it into my machine and set to work right away. I have not encountered a single down side or problem.

    I have an external Asus blu ray burner that I used with my 2010 Asus desktop but wanted an internal one for my new Asus desktop. Very fast and I am very impressed and glad to have had it installed on purchase..

    This ASUS drive is a perfect fit for my ASUS computer, but didn't come with software to play BDs. Yes my primary reason for buying this drive to replace the DVD writer drive that crapped out was to increase back-up storage using BDs, but I was also looking forward to being able to play my extensive collection of SyFy movies on my secondary screen while keeping up with my online endeavors (fantasy teams, FB, etc...).

    I can't review this item because i can't get it to hook to my cpu. Why you ask? Bc it uses a SATA ribbon that my cpu does not have, and best buy does not carry. When i went to best buy to ask where i could get one, their response was "Uh...well..i mean i dunno.. you can try a radio shack or a cpu store" Thanks Best Buy for the heads up! At least you got your money! Cheers.
