We have quite a few wireless laptop, iPads, smart phones, smsrt TV, Apple TV, ... this router alows them to work without any lag or throughput issues at all. It covers the entire house without need for extenders too. Very easy to set up and maintain.

So far so good with this router. I had a few issues early on with setup and with it restarting randomly, but overall very high quality with great range and super fast speeds. Lots of customization options as well with the ability to prioritize certain devices and packets (I prioritize my Amazon Fire stick for online streaming). Supports 4K streaming as well.

After using a similar ASUS model like this one for a few years, I purchased this slightly updated one to add Aimesh to my 3300 square foot 2-story home. Once installed, I have great speeds throughout and seamless connectivity. The signal reach now extends to my patio and detached garage without drops. I really like ASUS’s user interface much better than the Link$ys ones I had in the past. I kept having trouble setting up the Aimesh between the two routers wirelessly. I finally just connected them with an ethernet cable to do this and I was good to go. I disconnected the cable and power cord and moved the satellite modem to its new location in the house. Streaming is much quicker to respond now. They are working as expected and I have had no interruptions and no need to reboot.

Upgraded from an old Netgear router. More than doubled my speeds on a 150mbps line, now actively reaching 175 easily, Setup was simple, took 20 or so mins including setting up port forwarding and wiring 2 desktops and an xbox. Highly recommended upgrade.

but will highly caution about paying attention during setup. Somehow we placed a password protect on ours. Easy to resolve by resetting the whole system, but since the gamer is already set up a reset is just annoying. But the password essentially establishes a firewall that other wi-fi widgets can't get past (i.e. Ring, EcoBee, etc.)

Before this router I had a cheap router that did not really cover my entire house but with this router my house is fully covered and my internet is better.

Seems to be working very well...Will see how it works in the future.

I use this router in a 4200 sq. ft., multi-level home and consistently have a strong signal in all corners. We routinely have 5-7 devices connected and still have great speed and signal strength. Design, form and function are all on point here.

I recently switched to my local area fiber optic internet provider, which meant it was a good time to get a new WiFi router. This one seems to be a great choice for the price. My only worry is that it will not handle 4k well when I upgrade my TV in addition to my houseful of devices, but so far it is as fast and reliable as I could hope for.

We did our research before deciding to buy this router. It was easy to set up, has great range and provides great speeds to all of all streaming devices at the same time. Extremely pleased with our purchase!

I really enjoy the control this router provides you as well as the security. I am able to travel much further in my immediate area then I was with my previous Dual Band router that supposedly had the same features and cost's more. If you are looking for a router that prioritizes streaming capability and has dual band connection this is the one.

I am very pleased with this router. I've now had it for about a month and it easily supports a multitude of wireless devices. We've had upwards of 12 wireless devices active at the same time with zero problems. Great range as well.
