It's a very good buy for starters, it's fairly upgradeable and it runs everything I throw at it!

The purchase of this machine was an impulse buy and I have no regrets. I migrated forty gigs of data from my old machine in minutes and was surfing the WEB securely shortly thereafter. The sales associate was knowledgeable and helpful.

I purchased this computer for my son, who is 19, and he absolutely loves it! He said it does all the things he wants it to do with his gaming choices.

Pros: VR ready (high Steam VR benchmark scores) DDR4 RAM! Attractive case with some custom lighting Great video card Fast charging port for my phone Price Cons: WiFi keeps disconnecting after waking from sleep mode like once a week. This might be a Asus thing because my old Asus gaming Laptop did the same thing. Not a deal breaker since it takes two clicks to fix in win 10, but annoying none the less. Keyword is average DVD tray cover is a bit flimsy (but who buys physical disk for pc games anymore?) Low ceiling on upgradablilty (No Sli/Crossfire support on the motherboard, only a slot for ram expansion)

I purchased the ASUS computer on 7/30/16 After just a few connection problems ( AT&T syncing with Windows 10 mail. ) which the geek squad did remotely, Everything works great ! Bought this because of the dedicated video card. Monitor is absolutely brilliant..the colors pixels , etc are fantastic. The unit loads quickly, no issues with display drivers. Read a lot about all the problems people were having with Windows 10 , Personally, I love it. had an old HP media center running Vista. This is so similar. Easy to find everything with cortina or just typing by the start menu. I play on second life ( reality worlds ) and the speed of loading is fast. No lagging at all. Can see so much more now than ever before. Gave it a 5 star even though I had some issues as described above. ( not the fault of the computer. ) Highly recommended.....Fast, Dependable, and it's a good looking machine too...

This computer Rocks. Very fast specially since it has the 6th gen Intel processor and very important DDR4 RAM (memory). I plan to put a 1TB SSD soon to replace the Hard Drive which is the slowest component in a computer today's (not forgetting the DVD drive). An SSD will turn this computer into a Lamborghini. But lets not forget this is Oculus ready (Virtual Reality) all you have to do buy the headset kit and install software free from oculus.cpm

Sure it runs a 970 but it handles games with ease! So far for those that are wondering here goes a list" Gears of War 4 ---- ultra settings on and @1080p game runs with NO LAG.. going up in resolution from 1080 its still playable but intense scenes you will see a drop in framerates here and there about 40% of the time or less. Ryse-Son of Rome----- ALL high settings and game runs as good if not better than xboxone. Tom Clany's Division--- high settings and game runs great smooth framerates, notice some laggy playback but went back to graphic settings and tweaked down only one setting (forgot which one) and game play was flawless. Killer Instinct for windows--- this game struggled SO bad on my old pc which wasn't spec'd out but on this pc all ultra settings on and game is smooth as butter! ReCore----- all high settings on and no problems Boot up is fast with windows 10. For those that complained about how slow it was, I bet you my whole paycheck they didn't complete ALL of the windows updates, and believe you me you will wait a while for all that to finalize. Sure you can use the pc while they download but wait after a day or so and you'll see what I mean. Pc runs extremely quiet. Complaints--- not many other than the power button is kinda off and hard to hit unless you look for it. Not much room to upgrade, but for the time being, this is a great pc to get introduced to pc gaming.

World of Warcraft Legion's prepatch hit and whoops - my gaming laptop only went up to WoW's graphic setting of 6 (out of 10!) Time to get a new computer for Legion!! I had my eye on this desktop for awhile and saw it was on sale. I got it and absolutely love it! First of all, I buy computers that look cool and this fits the bill with the pulsing, ominous color (you can change the secondary color area to whatever you want, the bulk of the computer glows red. You can also adjust the pulsing action to your taste!) I even like and am using the keyboard that comes with it, as it also glows red! The mouse is fine (it doesn't glow lol!) but I prefer a gaming mouse. Secondly, I am thrilled to report that WoW is now running with solid 60fps (and typically way above in the 90s-100s) on the highest graphic setting. I did have to spend a little time tweaking the Nvidia settings as the game did NOT run optimally on the computer right out of the box (I downloaded the GeForce Experience app to help optimize the drivers, and also Googled info to further tweak settings.) Also, there's an app included that lets you overclock the computer very easily. For gaming on a budget I am delighted with my purchase as high-end gaming desktops can cost much more. One last thing - I also bought an SSD drive at Best Buy and installed it (takes a little technical know-how but you can find YouTube videos to help you through.) This thing boots like lightning now.

I love this pc! It's smooth running, quiet with plenty of power to spare. And the graphics are awesome!

I have had this computer over a year using 3 screens, can run 4 and it has operated without fail. It does run much faster than previous computers with a faster cpu, most likely due to the Nivida graphics card.

wow this is cool FAST and works with VR. The VR Oculas package makes this my new best friend. I am glad now I am single as I dont have to share and no one can tell me to get off. I also had a great sales experience as I was leaving on a trip and it came with a bundle on line but it would not ship for me to get it so the manager gave me the deal and saved 400.00 by buying it this way. MY favorite store Is SRQ best buy , university parkway. Ryan my gamer expert was great he knows his stuff !

My son is a pretty serious teen gamer, he had saved up a decent but not high end budget. He knew what he wanted and this if fitting the need very well. It's fast and resolution very good. He is able to play the demanding games he likes with no issues. Is it a super high end custom gamer, no, but bang for the buck this is proving to be a very good value . He loves it

It also services as a great all around PC for a home business or general home use computer. Speed, Performance, Storage and Graphics make this a great value for Gamer's or anyone that want's the power of a general all around PC.

After weeks of investigating various computers we chose this one and could not be happier! It is great for gaming, watching videos, and has excellent graphics. It is a fast operating system. For the price I don't think anyone could go wrong getting the Asus computer. I would recommend this brand for anyone from a beginner to an experienced person. It was very easy to set up without any problems and we are very happy with it.

My hand-crafted gaming rig was struck by lightning. I got this as a replacement, but I was concerned because the specs were lower than those of my fried rig. Not to worry--this thing is powerful enough to run all of my power-hungry games, and it's also very quiet. My college-age son also loves it, and he'll inherit it when I get my other rig patched up. The built-in Wi-Fi will allow us to put it in his room with no hassles, too.

Took a while to set up. I replaced the hard drive with two SSD's and cloning was a bit of a problem because I couldn't find the software I had clones with before.. Boots up almost instantly. I was going to buy an a10 based system and a GeForce 960 video card but it turned out this has a 970 already in it. So I got more computer for what I would have spent on the computer and card separate. I'm happy.

Great first gaming cpu. My son loves it no more lag and the price is reasonable.

Super happy with this purchase. Was reasonably priced, delivers a great gaming experience, and has a ton of flexibility in what you can do. I also like that you can pretty easily open it up and change the graphics card/hard drive or whatever else if it ever comes to the point where a newer graphics card or hard drive becomes useful. I couldn't think of a complaint if I tried.

We bought this computer to replace the one that finally had seen it's last day. It was not designed specifically for gaming but as our kids have gotten into gaming we thought if we were going to spend the money on a new system we would try one specific to a great gaming experience for them. They noticed the difference with smiles on their faces right away. There were other systems that offered liquid cooling and other amazing features I had no idea were available now. Those kinds of options are probably great for the super serious gamer but they come with a ticket price to match. We haven't had it long so I can't speak to it's longevity but it does offer everything including a really cool look with an option of custom lighting on the tower and red lighting on the keyboard and mouse. That was a big win in itself with the kids. Got it on sale for 799.00. (200.00 price reduction) We priced out customizing a system but after adding the same graphics card with equivalent specs designed for high quality gaming we would have ended up spending the same or more without all the cool features the ASUS system offered. That basically sealed the deal. If the ASUS can withstand the test of time with high usage by a couple of teenagers, I don't think we'll regret this purchase.

just got me asus gaming computor g11 it is awsome running guild wars 2 on ultra apperance and getting 62-78 fps it is very very quiet if the monitor was not on you would not know it is running. very happy with this purchase a great starter gaming outfit with room for expanding
