Sporting tech specs that exceed the recommended specifications for virtual reality as suggested by Oculus, this build by ASUS will have you cruising virtual worlds like a BOSS! Unpacking and setup was a breeze. The system is compact and runs super quiet. It kept a steady 90 frames during the entire Valve VR benchmark test, which is the recommended frame rate for VR. I ran all games at max, even Digital Combat Simulator (a graphics intensive flight and combat simulator) and it ran with no hiccups. Things to consider: You will need to purchase an extra video cable to connect to a monitor or HD TV (male DVI out from PC). The system comes with a 256 SSD, which will fill up pretty quickly with VR content. Upgradability isn't easily achieved due to small form factor. Especially the system RAM, which is blocked by the copper CPU cooling pipes. The only issue I had was running the Nvidia Experience app for the first time. It would not connect to the Nvidia site. If this happens to you, simply delete Nvidia Experience and download it from the Nvidia website. I've been running the system for over a month with no issues since. If you want an out-of-the-box ready power system with a rich VR experience, then this package is for you!

I bought this computer based on specs and owning an Asus laptop which has been a very good computer for the past 6 years. I'm not a computer pro, just a guy that wanted a good, fast computer. My only issue has been some crashes or mini crashes. It lost audio while playing games a couple times. I don't know why. Rebooted it and everything was fine. It's frozen up a couple times in the month since I bought it, requiring a manual reboot. A computer expert friend of mine is coming over soon it check all the settings and make sure it's perfect. There are so many options in Windows 10 that I might not have everything setup right. It's fast, real quiet and looks great on the Sony 43" 4k tv I use as a monitor.

Product Review : The product is great (5 stars for the product if i would not have bought at best buy) I bought if for oculus and it works great. Experience with BestBuy: I bought this product in store and since there was no stock they had to ship it . I paid some additional money to get the PC quicker put it came 2 days later than what was promised. I was told i would get a refund of the shipping price but that never happened. I requested for a price mach as the price went down by 200 dollars on this product but they just refunded me 100 and refused to change that. I would have rather walked to the store and got a refund .I am also told i cant go to the store now for a refund because they have a policy to allow only one refund. This probably might not happen with everyone but i am done with BestBuy

I purchased this PC as part of an Oculus Rift bundle and have been completely satisfied with my purchase! The PC does an excellent job powering the oculus which requires substantial resources.

I have never been a fan of Asus, I only purchased list because it was part of a rift bundle. I must say I am impressed with the speed of this computer, I just hope it lasts!

This is an amazing desktop, it is very powerful which makes it great for gaming and with the 16 GB Ram you can easily multitask and edit videos, would recommend!!

I purchased this computer Oculus Ready and the set up was very easy. The quality and performance are outstanding.

So far all good after a purchase nightmare with an Alienware with Dell. Hoping this computer lasts me a good 5 years.

Bought the Oculus ready Asus Desktop and after setting it up discovered that the keyboard had 4 keys that did not work. I called Asus customer service to see if I could send back the keyboard and get a replacement. The guy tried to get me to update Windows drivers, really for a hardware problem? Then he explained to me I would have to send back the entire computer. Crazy!!!! I ended up buying a replacement keyboard on Amazon and that worked perfectly, so it was definitely the hardware. Where is their common sense?

I have replaced this twice now and it's out of warranty now it's going to cost me money through Asus it completely Powers off and doesn't come back on I would never buy an Asus Tower such as this ever again.

I purchased mine from Amazon - Asus ROG G20CB-WS71 (same thing as this model) First off I want to say I upgraded from a Liquid Cool i7 Alienware with an AMD R9 290 video card, and this ASUS ROG G20CB-WS71 is a tiny little BEAST and runs dead silent!!! My alienware is about 90lbs and huge and loud. This thing is about 25lbs and Tiny and Silent. Setup was a breeze and it is blazing fast, and it is dead silent. I mean it, its so quiet you don't even know its there, and its sitting right next to me on top of my desktop maybe 2 feet away from my keyboard. All my games run amazing on this thing all settings are all maxed/ultra. Arma 3, The Division, America's Army, Path of Exile, Diablo 3, Overwatch to name just a few. I am 100% please with my purchase and would defiantly recommend this to any of my friends which in turn would mean I would recommend it to anyone looking for a new gaming pc. I ran into a few quirky things and have listed them in the NOTE below and how I resolved them. **NOTE** *I had some crazy lag issues in a few online games, even my steam connection dropped a few times and would not reconnect unless I fully closed the application then restarted it. I found it to be the Asus software Game First 3 software that is supposed to make your online games work better/faster via prioritizing games over other network activity! Once I turned this off and found that it was in fact Game First 3, I uninstalled it and it works perfect. I went to Asus site and found a newer version, Game First 4, downloaded it and installed it and its set it to auto and it is working perfect. *To change the LED light colors on this model it is not located in the Asus Command app like many online have stated, it is in fact in the AEGIS software to do this. I have only had it a few days so far but have put in many hours of gaming and it has not hitched. I will update if anything changes. But again this tiny little computer is a Beast. LOVING IT! ***UPDATED 7/11/2016*** Have had this almost a month now and Everything stateda above still STANDS TRUE! This computer is AMAZING! Its worth every penny and then some. It truly is a Tiny Silent Beast. Absolutely Love this thing.

I have sent this computer four times to be repaired. I would not recommend this machine. Horrible experience with the ASUS brand.

This machine makes starting up so quickly to load up as it comes with sdd and with hdd for extra storage. I'm very impressed with its speed with its gtx 980 driver. It's a very great asus desktop pc to get and is worth buying!

Unit is Dead On Arrival. No video from GTX 980. Quick call to Asus Customer Support reviled their complete incompetence. They did not even attempted to troubleshoot issue, instead recommended to just return desktop to the store. I was able to bring integrated video up to find out that GTX 980 not present in the system. Checked power on both AC adapters - all checks out. Guess, as i cannot open desktop without voiding warranty, power to GTX 980 is unplugged or card not seated properly.
