After updating the drivers and general setup, this computer easily runs as a game machine and to use AutoCAD. Some advanced aspects of 3D manipulations with CAD may give the video card a hard time...a quad core Video card was recomended to use CAD. Computer just idles along and stays cool.

Computer is good, graphics card is not so good. For the money can upgrade easily though.

Plenty of speed and headroom for what I am doing. Main use of this machine is music production (Cubase 8) and web development.

Bought my Asus I7 PC to handle my gaming,still have it after 2 yrs with a few upgrades to the PSU and the GPU due to the newer game recommendations but the CPU still handles all my programs needed i use to run while in game

I was expecting a better speed response time from this equipment based on the price, but it was not the case, graphic processing is OK but not great

Got the in 2015 for about 1g. Had to do some upgrades tho

I thought I was getting a 2TB hard drive. Turns out the manufacturer partitions the drive into a very small C drive (about 150 GB) and a larger D drive (about 1.6TB). The programs I installed wanted to be on the C drive (like iTunes) and it fill up so quickly that the computer became useless. After hours on the phone I gave up and sent it back.

I purchased one Asus 16GB, 2T, i7. Failed. It was a headache. I got an exchange. I was told I was gonna get one with better card reader. Failed. It was shocking that after doing the Windows 10 update, a 16 GB, 2T desktop didn't have memory. I am able to use for 10-30 min. Then, a pop up appears telling me about the low memory. I have to shut it down, then restart it to use it for the same amount of time. This is the most ridiculous, annoying and frustrating thing. Now, BestBuy is not giving me back the money I paid in cash. They are giving me a credit to spend it in the store. The problem is that I don't need anything. I need to purchase another computer, and have no $1000 to spend it in another store. Anyway, I wouldn't recommend to purchase ASUS. it is weird that the two computers failed. By the way, I cannot add a picture because of the poor performance of this. I can tell you that I got the gray color one. Beautiful case. Very poor performance.

Received damaged returned it and it took over a month to get our money refunded. Very disappointed... Needless to say bought same 2nd computer from someone else. Very happy with that purchase.

I would highly recommend this PC- its performance is terrific, it's quiet, and it's quite nicely designed. However, it does have a couple of very irritating quirks, one of which requires a bit of computer know-how to accommodate. Pros: Excellent gaming/rendering performance- graphics speed is slightly less than the MSI 16GF gaming notebook, but it outstrips the MSI in RAM and processing power by a long way. Well-ventilated case with quiet fan- even the boot-up fan burst barely exceeds what I would call a hum. Convenient case layout- audio in/out jacks, 2 USB 2.0 ports, & multi-card reader are all located accessibly in the front. The interior is also very spacious, making additional drives and cards easy to install. Cons: Does not ship with software capable of playing DVDs or Blue-Ray Disks. Separate Data and OS drives- the "C" drive has a capacity of only 149 GB, which is significant because "My Documents," "Downloads," and other large folders are on that drive and I don't think they can be reassigned. Also, you'll have to manually change your install directory every time you add new software. I personally created a "D:\Program Files (x86)" folder so I would only have to change one letter from the default install path. NVIDIA GeForce Experience comes with several software addons installed that video card is not capable of supporting, including GameStream, Shadowplay, and LED Visualizer.
