This Chromebook is filled with so many awesome features, so let's go by categories: Design This Chromebook is one of the best looking ones I have seen. This laptop doesn't cheap out and has a beautiful aluminum chassis which even goes to the bottom of the laptop, chrome accents around the feet of the laptop and trackpad, and pretty chrome hinges. There's also the screen, which is amazing. With an 87% screen to body ratio, it looks beautiful, and also allows the laptop to fit in a very small body, helping portability and looking great. There is also an ErgoLift hinge, which raises the laptop up for a more comfortable typing experience. Brilliant! Trackpad and Keyboard Let's start with the trackpad, which is meh. It is the only thing I am not too fond of. It is pretty rough and makes it a little hard to move around, but it looks pretty good and has a good clicking sound. However, it's not terrible, just a normal trackpad, not glass or anything special. As for the keyboard, I love it. The 1.4mm of travel makes the keys feel enjoyable to touch, and the backlighting is nice, and the intensity can be changed (ALT and brightness up or down). The silver keys are also different and look good. Ports Port selection is good on this Chromebook, having two USB-C ports on both sides of the Chromebook, which can both do all functions. There is also a USB-A port on the left side, as well as a headphone jack, and the power and volume buttons. There is also a Micro SD slot, but it does poke out when it is put in. Performance The performance of this Chromebook is great and can handle normal Chromebook users tasks, like multitasking Netflix or Hulu, and 4 or 5 tabs. It also has up to 10 hours of battery life, which I have found to be quite correct, even with the backlit keys on and high brightness. Display I have to have a whole separate part for this. IT'S AMAZING! The display is Full HD (1080x1920) on a 14-inch display and it doesn't look dull at all. It's pretty much bezel-less and makes the laptop way smaller than other Chromebooks around its size, like the HP Chromebook X360. This Or The HP Chromebook X360? When I was shopping for a new Chromebook, I looked at this and the HP Chromebook X360. There were some pros about the HP, like the Gorilla Glass trackpad and better processor, but I did not like the weird looking two-tone color scheme, and the fan run processor, which I definitely did not want, so when I looked at the ASUS, I was blown away with its bezel-less screen, aluminum body, ErgoLift hinge, and fanless design. Also, what sold me on it, was it was cheaper, by $70 (I got it on sale)! Overall Overall, if you're thinking of getting this, get it. It is so much better than the X360 for the average person's needs, and the quality design and beautiful screen will make you fall in love with it every time you open its aluminum lid.

I have been wanting a laptop to use when traveling, not as my main computer, and this Asus Chromebook is perfect for that. In fact I have been using it as my main PC at home also. I still use a desktop for tasks such as photo and video editing and storage but for most everything else I now use this Chromebook. Great performance, nice size screen, long battery life, seems to be well made. Easy set up and very portable. Has a touchscreen that works well and is perfect for anything web-related. It is easy to use and works seamlessly with my home wi-fi.

So sleek and beautiful!! Easy set up and easy to use. The speakers/sound are not very good. However I always connect to headphones so it doesn’t matter too much. Amazing clarity. Great price! Love that it is touch screen and can use as a tablet.

Bought this for my grandparents who are just learning how to use a laptop and just need it for browsing the web. Easy to set up, very light and portable, and versatile for someone who has no clue how to use technology. Love that when they get stuck on using the trackpad they can just use the touchscreen.

This is my 3rd Chromebook and in my opinion, one of the best on the market right now. Just a month before I bought the ASUS, I had returned an HP 14-DA0011DX convertible due to a defect in the screen, opting not to exchange it due to size, weight, and concern over the hinge design. This ASUS Flip C434 also has a 14" screen, but due to the very small bezels, its external dimensions are closer to a 13" laptop. It's also a half-pound lighter than the HP, and although I'm trading the Core i3 for an m3, I'm also giving up a very noisy fan. I would have preferred to have 8GB of RAM, but based on my use profile, I haven't noticed any problem with just 4GB. Performance has been excellent. The C434 is simply a beautifully designed and built Chromebook. The keyboard is a joy to type on, and although not glass, the trackpad is precise and sensitive. The screen is amazing -- not sure what else I can say about it. Some reviewers have commented that the hinges are too tight, but I actually prefer them over the HP's, which just didn't inspire confidence. As far as the battery is concerned, I have gone through 2 charge cycles, and battery life is consistently in the 10+ hour range. At $500 on sale, I feel like I got a great deal on one of 2019's best Chromebooks.

It is a good chromebook for surfing the internet. I use it mostly for accessing my emails and view webpages. When view videos (I have to do short ones due to data plan limits) they do look and sound good.

Love the screen size, solid aluminum feel, fast boot-up time, touchscreen, solid hinge and available ports. This would have been perfect except for two things; the lack of color contrast on the keys and the loud click on the track pad. It was not a good idea to have silver keys with white lettering, even with the back-lighting turned up to high, it is still near impossible to make out the keys unless you are looking straight down at the keys as opposed to the normal 45 degree angle. I use this in a classroom setting so the loud click on the track-pad is annoying. So close to being perfect.

This looks amazing. The outer shell looks fantastic. The screen is good sized and very clear. I like the back lit keyboard. Bought this for a GF and she loves it.

Get Chromebook. Purchased it to replace my older Asus C302. Only dislike is the silver keys, I prefer the black backlighted keys of the older 302. Great Chromebook.

This is my first Chromebook purchase ever. I did my research and I kept seeing this particular one pop up in several articles. And it doesn't disappoint! I recommend for anyone looking to get a great Chromebook at an affordable price.

Love the asus flip. to be completely honest i am a bit of an asus fanboy but this is still a powerful machine at a great price. I would definitely recommend this over some more expensive options.

This is my first Asus computer. It is very lightweight, compact and easy to set up ! The 12 inch screen is perfect ! Using the top function keys for volume, brightness, minimization of the screen takes a bit of getting used too ! I would highly recommend this computer ! Nice job Asus !

Asus M3 Flip C434TA provides a bright screen, fast processor speed with light-weight design and is great for everyday use.

Excellent chrome book. Faster than expected. The chrome book is faster than my laptop and my laptop has triple the ram. Imagine that. Don't hesitate. It appears well built and very functional.

This was a very smart purchase. I love it! I am able to work from home. Love the fact that it is touch screen and can be used just as a tablet.

I bought this laptop for my daughter and it has been ideal for the learning programs we have installed.

It's very easy for my children to use, great starter laptop, everyone has two logins, one for school, and one for personal.

I'll start out by saying I did not buy this laptop at Best Buy (they were completely sold out in the DFW area and couldn't deliver or pickup for weeks). I also bought the 8gb ram version which Best Buy does not sell as of today. It was only $50 more for double the ram so I figured why not. Future proof it a little bit longer. I'm a very minimalist user. This is not for work, just play. Mainly to browse the internet and watch videos. This thing is beautiful! Incredibly thin, very light. If you like the design and feel of Macbooks, you'll love this. The keyboard feels great, and I had no problem with the trackpad. Great display, excellent sound quality. I haven't had much luck with sound quality on laptops before this one. They also buzz or ping once you get past 75% volume, usually rattling off the shell. I have none of that on this one, even at 100% volume. Battery life is great, as most laptops today are. My only gripe, if you could call it that, is the backlit keyboard. I had to turn the brightness down all the way to the lightest setting. The letters on the keyboard are only a slightly darker color than the keyboard itself, and the lighting make it hard to read the keys. Not a problem with the brightness down though. Overall, I am beyond happy with this chromebook! Yes, $500 - $600 for a chromebook is pricey, but you definitely get what you pay for. The only comparable chromebook for cheaper would be the Dell Inspiron 14 (MSRP $550 but Best Buy regularly has it on sale for $400). It's just as fast, and actually has more storage. But it's quite heavy, not as thin, and I still had the audio issues.

This is a nice little computer. Smaller than a laptop, bigger than a tablet. Great display. But the reason I bought this is the security of the Chrome operating system. It seems to work well.

I'm speechless, for this price, the features and functionality of this computer are wonderful. Screen is Awesome. If you can find one, BUY IT! Wish I could find another one.
