Great Card with some problems and a high price tag

I decided to upgrade to the 3090 and right away I noticed flickering on several games. I decided to turn off g-sync on those games and flickering stopped. I also downloaded a program called HW monitor. Quickly I learned the card has thermal pad issues that is causing the memory to heat up near the 95 degree limit which may reduce the life of the card and cause thermal throttling even though the GPU is cool. The other issue I am finding. Some games I had low framerate and was hoping to see a big improvement. Unfortunately I saw none. What I see is the GPU operating on less then 50% and not even fully utilizing the card. This could be the fault of the game and not the GPU so I will give a pass here. Just disappointing Games like Call of duty Cold war however is absolutely perfect. Ultra settings running 3440x1440 and often you see the fps in the 120-170 fps range if I turn off vsync. Clearly the free game included was fully optimized for this card and excited for games in the future. At the price of this card and you expect perfection out of this card and it is far from that.

Memory temps are high, but handled decently well. Replacing stock thermal pads would yield better results, but for non-continuous use, the stock ones are great.

I try to reach costumer service but they don't have any card available to send me as replacement, and was not willing to file a claim for manufacture warranty. Hope that options will be available to purchase again, but hope found one that was able to hold my games.
