Good Case, Wish It Was More Form Fitting

Love the case feels like it protects the Ally pretty well but I also hoped from the creaters of the device for a more engineered design. It works and fits but the hope was for something like the steam decks case that conforms to the device more. Either way it's still a nice case if not a little pricey.

If you just want to take your rog with you on a short trip this gets the job done, but there is no space to cary the power components or additional accessories. So you'll want to upgrade soon after buying if going on longer hauls.

Fits like a glove and looks nice but no room for anything else. There should be a spot for the charger and a usb dongle at the very least. Just my two cents. Seems expensive for what it is.

Snuggly holds my ROG Ally X. The zipper is pretty stiff at first but it does loosen up a bit over time.
It does not include any graphics telling you "how" exactly to put the Ally in it, but you can see the cutouts on the top of the case for the thumb sticks and figure it out. overall does a good job protecting my ally when I throw it in my bag.

It is a great case for the Ally! I do think that the stand feature is kind of pointless but I do love that it has little pockets so I can keep a cleaning cloth and flash drive handy at all times. The padding is good but not great since it only seems to be on top and underneath, so if you drop it there is a chance to do some damage if it lands on it's side. This would be better if it was maybe 10 dollars less, then it would be more forgiving because there are cheaper cases that provide hardshell casing. I do however love the aesthetics of the case, it looks great!

I bought this product for my gamepad product and it’s been very successful. When Purchesed, shortly after I accidentally knocked it off the shelf onto a hardwood floor. It was very happy with the fact that no damage happened to the actual component very happy

Love the design very appealing and the material seem good quality has room for sd cards wich is useful if you have a lot of games and need storage but the only downside is there is no room to carry a charger which is bad cause a lot of games consume alot of energy

Dont listen to reviews of people complaining or saying the case sucks. If you are like me and want to make sure that my $750 device is protected, then buy the case. If you fancy features and material then dont. The case is NOT flimsy. Its actually very cushioned and can protect from a normal drop. It keeps the thumbsticks protected and cushioned in place. Only thing i dont like is that they should have made the device face the other way. The bumpers and triggers are easily pressed because they are right along the zipper part. Either they should add more cushion to that area or make it turn the other way. Since the thumbsticks holes are imprinted and cut out on the inside to protect them, if you turn the device around, the thumbsticks wont rest correctly. Other than that, it can protect from drips, dust, scratches and water.

I like the material. It does not offer complete protection. But I like the look and gives minor to moderate protection. I think the price is a little on the high side for what it is.

I think $40 is a little high for the case, but I do like the padding (seems dense) and I like the material used in the outside. The Republic of Gamers branding looks good in a nerdy, gaudy kind of way.

i like this case, but it doesn't have a hard shell and, while it may be completely fine, worries me a bit that a little damage could happen. there is not a lot of room for much of anything else.
i also have a hard shell case with plenty of room for the cord and any accessories.

I will say that I got this as a freebie with the Ally I purchased, however, I was planning to purchase it, and still would, if it hadn't been included.
This case provides more than enough protection when tossing it into a suitcase or back pack.
Not sure the "stand" feature is really all that useable, but honestly, not sure I would ever need it. If I need a stand, it's because I'm at home connected to the doc. Either get a doc that's a stand, or something sturdier with better airflow.
As for use as a case. Unless you want a harder plastic case, you really can't go wrong with this one.

I got this bundled with my ROG ally which I purchased for the standard retail price, it does a great job at defending the screen from pressure in my bag but there's virtually no padded along the sides and there's no space for any accessories including the included power adapter.
If you're needing a case for your ROG ally and going farther then just carrying in a backpack I suggest the official hard case for 10 dollars more.

Amazing Case! It does change into a stand that allows me to put my handheld in it, at an angle. Great for small tables (auditorium lectures with those folding tables) and ease of use. There are no pockets for accessories nor a wrist strap for just in case you need to catch it. There are indentations for the control sticks. All in all, very good case, could use a bit of a discount though (maybe 25% off the MSRP as it is so bare minimum for what you do get).

The case is good. The only thing I wish it had was a handle and a little more room to put the plug. You can fit the plug but it’s not suppose to be there
