This overall is a nice case. It's somewhat hard-shell so it seems it'll provide protection to the Ally. It also is cloth covered and still has a softish exterior so it doesn't feel like a hard-shell. The Ally logo is holographic if you hit it in the light just right. My gripes for knocking off 2 stars. There is no room for the Ally charger. The Ally has short battery life, there should be a place for the charger. The case interior is molded for the Ally by the indents in the top of the compartment for the joy sticks of the Ally. The internal compartment is oriented for the Ally to go into the case in only one direction and that's fine. That said, every time I try to get the Ally into the case, I have to fiddle with the protective black cloth screen protector and I always bunch up the corners of the case when I put the Ally in this case. I have to unfurl the case corners out from under the Ally before zipping it shut. It takes a bit more effort than it should to get the Ally into this case. That said, it is a nice case and when you carry your Ally around in it, you do "feel good" if you will. Lastly, and biggest gripe. This should have been included with the Ally. My son's Steamdeck included a case and I think the Steamdeck case accommodates the charger as well. Again, overall it's nice, I do recommend it, but it's overpriced, should have been included with the Ally, and it should hold the charger.

It's a no-frills official carrying case. It fits the ROG Ally perfectly, with not much room for anything else. There are cutouts in there for the joysticks to not get bumped around while in the case. The zipper is aesthetically pleasing with ROG Ally written on the side. There are some design choices that some might want to consider: - There is no handle on this case. - There is not a lot of room for anything other than the ROG Ally itself. - It is sleek and minimalist.

Ths overall case is made well from what I can see, the zipper is smooth and device fits snuggly when closed. there's a small storage slots for memory or expnadedstorage cards on the inside. The negative is the case only fits the Asus Ally Rog itself and had no room for the power supply and small accessories that would be used with the device so additional storage is needed.

Bought this case to go with my new Asus ROG Ally. When it arrived, the packaging had blood on it. I'm not sure what happened at the warehouse, and I certainly hope whatever employee the blood came from is OK. But seriously, who gets blood all over the box for an item and thinks it's alright to ship that to a customer? Thankfully my wife is a nurse so we had some surgical gloves available so I could safely open the box without having to touch the dried blood. I ended up returning my Ally and thus returned the case, too. That said, for what little time I had it, the case seemed to be decent quality. It feels substantial without being overly heavy. I dislike the big ASUS ROG ALLY that is printed along the side of the case. For me, I prefer my gaming device cases to be a little less blatant about what's inside, since advertising it just screams "steal me!" in public spaces. Given the relatively few cases currently available for the Ally -- and this is the only "official" one at the time of my writing this -- it does the job. Just don't expect it to hold a power brick. There's enough room for the Ally itself, and a USB-C cable. Also, at MSRP, it's a bit expensive. I expect within a few months there will be 3rd party cases for 1/2 to 1/3 of the price of the official case. If you're not in a hurry for a travel case, it might be worth waiting.

Perfect size and easy to use. very light and portable, and protects my rog well.

Great case for the Ally. Fits perfectly and easy to carry. Unfortunate that the power adapter won't fit. That's the only downside.

It's a nice, water-resistant case that I can slide into my backpack. I wish it were a little bigger so I can store the charger in it. A handle would probably be great, too.

Received today. The case itself looks great. Its not “soft” as some wiuld say. This isnt a fanny pack. Its got a nice hard layer of something between the material to protect. I would not hesitate to throw this thing into a back and go. Inside is soft and fits the ally snuggly. Im taking a star away because the stand is stupid. That really should have been built into the device itself. Dont hesitate to buy this case for protection. The ones available now are ugly, rushed to market and or made for the deck.

This is a great, lite weight case that fits my backpack easily. Combined with the weight of the ROG Ally it does well for bringing my gaming with me, almost perfectly safely. It is a soft case, which I will count as it's only defect, because that possible to still easily damage the goods inside. It is better than nothing at all, as the ROG Ally does not come with one at all.

The case looks ok, but ultimately, it's just a basic design that provides decent protection. The "custom" indents to protect the thumbsticks are a nice touch, and the materials are very soft to protect the screen from scratches. However, it really could've used a compartment to store either the included charger or the optional charger/dock they sell. If you're using this with a larger pack and just want protection for the Ally, it's pefectly fine.

Nicely made! Fits the Ally X well...but minus a star for no room for the charger. Definitely great for protection if you carry in a backpack or bag.

Its good but a bit disappointing for the price. The outside and looks and material is good. It will keep it safe. The inside is a bit sloppy. Stitching isn't good. Fabric is loose. The stand is worthless. I think for how much you pay for the Asus Rog Ally the official case should be better. The Steam deck comes with a great case for free. I do like this case and it does do what its supposed to do but yes people want premium for a premium device.

Compact and does what it's meant to do it get's 4 stars because its has no place to put the charging cord

A good case to keep the Asus ROG Ally safe when in your backpack. While it does have some storage pockets inside they are really only good for a couple of sd cards or a gift card or something of that nature, not really any space for accessories. So if you are looking for a carry case you may want to see other options. But if your just going to put it in a backpack anyway, this is a good case, and doubles as a stand for media consumption.

Pretty decent case for the ally as there are not many cases that fit the ally "pefectly". If it was priced around $20-$25 it would be the best case for the ally. Its perfect for putting it inside backpack or other bags. I dont recommend carrying it by it self as it wont fit the charger and the sticks get pressed with light pressure. The built in stand works, but I wouldnt run games on it for too long as it covers the back portion.

The case is of good quality. Holds the unit well. Reasonable pricing and highly functional.

Does what it's suppose to do. Protects Rog Ally while traveling in backpack. Inside lining is felt and cushioned. Snug fit. Too bad not enough room to carry charger. Should come included with rog ally and/or at leat be cheaper. Overall, does a good job protecting my rog ally. Thats what matters most.

I will say that I got this as a freebie with the Ally I purchased, however, I was planning to purchase it, and still would, if it hadn't been included. This case provides more than enough protection when tossing it into a suitcase or back pack. Not sure the "stand" feature is really all that useable, but honestly, not sure I would ever need it. If I need a stand, it's because I'm at home connected to the doc. Either get a doc that's a stand, or something sturdier with better airflow. As for use as a case. Unless you want a harder plastic case, you really can't go wrong with this one.

Fine travel case. Wish it had a pocket for...anything. Also the shape and positioning makes it hard to tell at a glance which way it goes in. Have to match up the stick depressions every time.

Sure, here it goes: The case for the ASUS ROG Ally Handheld PC is a must-have. For just $40, it provides excellent protection without compromising the device's sleek design. It's sturdy, fits perfectly, and the material feels premium. Great value for the price!
