This is well worth it if you want a tablet and a smartphone on the same data plan. Some of the apps just continuously work after docking the phone and some doesn't so don't be surprise by that. Also, when I changed the lock screen wallpaper and home wallpaper on the phone and tablet with different pics, it seems to break the phone... I had to hard reset the phone to fix it. When I dock it, the tablet would blink like a it's so confused. Weird bugs like that are to be expected with such a niche product like this. Other than that the phones works great. The processor works without a hitch. Battery life is decent on the phone but with the tablet it's amazing. I think it'll be really appreciated if you buy the keyboard dock also, it really adds more functionality and productivity to this product.

I love my new tab/phone. I work from my phone so answering emails just became so much easier. When I need the smaller size of the phone I can detach it from the tab and take off.

A phone and a tablet without a seperate data access rate

The combination of having a pocket size phone or a full size tablet was a great idea at and affordable price. ASUS will give the others a run for their money

Been waiting a couple of years for this phone to come to the states after the first version was released overseas. Really disappointed that they completely redesigned it for the US release. I'm glad some people are getting good use out of their phones, I wish I did. My 1st and 6th PadFones were the only ones to last more than 2 weeks so far. My 2nd replacement phone arrived DOA, the others have only lasted about a week. Otherwise the phone is great. It does get annoying that some apps crash or at least have to be restarted when you switch between phone and tablet modes. Also, the matching keyboard dock does not latch to the tablet like the original. The tablet just slides into a rubber boot on the keyboard hinge which doesn't grip very well. When trying to close the PadFone and the keyboard together one-handed your liable to wind up with the 2 parts pulling apart.
