Very good gpu
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently picked up the ASUS PRIME NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 OC Edition 12GB GDDR7, and it’s easily one of the best upgrades I’ve made to my setup. First off, performance is incredible. This card absolutely flies through modern games at high and ultra settings, delivering smooth frame rates even at higher resolutions. The 12GB of GDDR7 memory makes a noticeable difference, especially in newer titles that are more demanding—it just feels future-ready. I’ve also noticed a big improvement in creative workloads like video editing and 3D rendering. The build quality is exactly what I expect from ASUS PRIME. The card feels solid and well-engineered, and the cooling system is excellent. Even under heavy loads, temperatures stay impressively low, and the fans remain relatively quiet. No annoying coil whine or overheating issues here—just stable, consistent performance. Installation was straightforward, and the PCIe 5.0 support gives me confidence that this card will stay relevant for years to come. The factory overclock is a nice bonus too—great performance right out of the box without any tweaking. Visually, it has a clean, minimal design that fits perfectly into my build without being overly flashy. It’s sleek, modern, and doesn’t feel overdone with RGB. Overall, if you're looking for a powerful, reliable GPU that can handle both gaming and productivity with ease, this one is definitely worth it. ASUS really delivered a well-balanced card here—high performance, solid cooling, and great build quality. Highly recommended!

5070 review
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Strengths • Strong performance for mainstream and mid-to-high-end gaming / content creation. The RTX 5070 is built on the new “Blackwell” architecture, with 6144 CUDA cores, a 12 GB GDDR7 memory buffer, a 192-bit bus and very high memory bandwidth. • Good thermal design & build quality. ASUS uses its “Axial-tech” fans + efficient cooling + dual-bios options, which helps keep temperatures and noise under control. • Balanced for 1440p (QHD) gaming and even some 4K workloads. For many modern titles — especially with features like DLSS and upscaling — this GPU is “future-ready enough,” and should offer solid frame rates at 1440p, and acceptable performance at 4K (depending on settings). • Modern connectivity & feature support. PCIe 5.0, HDMI 2.1 + DisplayPort 2.1 outputs — plenty of bandwidth for modern monitors. Also supports newer NVIDIA features (ray tracing, AI-driven enhancements, DLSS, etc.). • Good value compared to “top-tier” cards. While it doesn’t compete with top-of-the-line GPUs in raw power, for many users it offers a strong price-to-performance balance — especially if you don’t need the very highest-end GPU horsepower.

Upgrade for my RTX 3060
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Upgraded my Asus RTX 3060 12gb to the Asus RTX 5070 12gb after days of research, maybe even weeks, its kind of a blur. Best upgrade I have done in years! One example. Avatar: frontiers of Pandora. A VERY demanding game. That begs for 1440p ultra. RTX 3060 on 1440p medium setting getting around 20 FPS. Not playable when you hit combat. RTX 5070 on 1440p ultra avg 114 to 125 fps. Smooth as butter. All explosions and activity in combat I did see it drop to 85 fps once. I am using this on an Asus X570+ wifi (pcie4) with a Ryzen 5 5600X and 32gb Corsair Vengeance. Getting a new Asus mobo with ryzen 7 7800X3D soon, I expect to see a little more performance boost. Wont be as dramatic as 3060 to 5070 though. Looked at 5070 TI pretty hard, just couldnt justify price difference. Decided to put that money towards new board and cpu. This card rocks. If you have a 3060, get this now!! Works just fine on pcie 4 with a Ryzen 5. Little to no bottleneck. Runs extremely cool, 1440p ultra and 60c temp. And, its Asus!

Asus Prime RTX 5070 oc edition
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Its a good card, at the present moment handling Borderlands 4 on the high preset with - on average 70 and up fps (70 being the lowest its dipped) - fingers crossed the next patch doesn't bork stuff... Haven't really tested it in much else. The price was right too (6 months no interest deal). running it on Q-uiet bios at the moment, might get more performance out of switching it to P. honestly (Not sure my old eyes would notice anything above 70FPS though, honestly) i don't think its spun up very much at all, the case/rad fans tied to the CPU and case heat do but the cards stayed pretty quiet. Running off a gskill 850watt gold + psupply (without a 12 volt cable - so its 2 6v rails), AMD ryzen 7 7800x3d, aoc 1080 140hz monitor and 64 gig of 6000mhz ddr5 (32X2) on a rog strix b650e-f wifi gaming board. I think the price was a little higher than I wanted, but with the 6 month deal, i think it was worth it.

Great temps and no noise
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The card performs great and stays cool and sillent. Rarely goes above 60 degrees. As much as people want to bash it, the dlss and frame gen are very convenient to run dog water engines like unreal engine 5. Im playing S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2 and Oblivion remake at 200fps+ at 1080p. Could not be happier :)

Absolutely blown away – the RTX 5070 OC is a next-
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Incredible card! The ASUS PRIME RTX 5070 OC runs 4K ultra with DLSS 4 at 100+ fps, stays cool (under 68°C) and whisper quiet. Best upgrade I’ve ever made — absolute beast for the price!

Great card of the price I got it for!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I paired this with a Ryzen 7 5800XT cpu as due to prices of DDR5 ram I was not looking to jump into the AM5 socket set right now. I will say this thing is a beast of a card for my 1080p gaming preferences! 2K does well also but I stick to my preferences. No noticeable bottleneck going on with my PC setup, and I’m thrilled for the price of the card. Battlefield 6 has been running well on my previous 2070 super(props to the game being optimized well enough as the time of this review) but the extra 4 gigs of vram and more power under the hood are very noticeable! Other games I tried out too were running well. I tried Fortnite as it’s a decently optimized UE5 game and was running every thing maxed out not issues without lumen. Assetto Corsa Rally ran fantastic also! Gone were the skips of the world loading in as I was driving the track. Another notable game would have to be escape from Tarkov. While the game is still a terribly buggy mess, I will say the extra power actually has the game feeling a lot smoother and DLSS4 certainly doesn’t hurt either. Overall I’m very pleased with my purchase and was glad to get my computer feeling back to how I remember it feeling during COVID era gaming.

Perfect balance performance and easy installation
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Upgrading from an 8GB 5060 Ti to the ASUS Prime RTX 5070 OC 12GB is a massive level-up for 1440p gaming. The premium packaging kept it perfectly secure, and installation was incredibly easy thanks to the sleek 2.5-slot design and simple 16-pin power connection. Performance-wise, it is an absolute beast; the jump to 12GB of ultra-fast GDDR7 memory and DLSS 4 completely fixed the VRAM choking and frame drops I used to get. In Call of Duty: Warzone, I went from compromising on settings just to hit 90 FPS to easily driving maxed-out, high-refresh-rate frames at native 1440p—even during chaotic gunfights—all while running cool and whisper-quiet.
