    This laptop is a great product though a little on the expensive side. During development it appears that the engineers/designers didn't put much thought on speaker, power and volume rocker placement. Whenever I would like to turn up or lower the volume I accidentally press the power button and activate sleep mode in the middle of my work. They also missed the mark on the materials used or just didn't care that finish seems to absorb oils from my hands during use. Even opening up the screen can be challenging because I have to squeeze my fingernail in between the keyboard and screen. No indent or lip to help open. Overall it's still okay.

    I love this machine! I put in a 500g solid state drive and it is really really fast. I love the look and feel. Somehow by adding the SSD, it disabled the external speaker according to the Geek Squad who did the installation.

    I really liked the computer overall, it was just painfully slow. It has great specs except I forgot to check the speed of hd and 5400rpm hd just clouds them all. I read something about adding a PCIE SSD to speed it up, but don't bother it doesn't have a slot for that, at least thats what the tech said. For running CAD this computer would have never kept up, it took about 5 minutes just to get in workable mode. If your very patient or your not running any big applications, this is for you, but otherwise not so much.

    This is a great laptop. It does not come with a SSD drive however. I returned it and replaced it with another ASUS laptop with a 2TB drive and 512 SSD and 4K monitor. Both ASUS systems were very good. Well built units.
