This laptop has an amazing display and a easy way to access the settings and make it your own. The capacity of this computer is out of this world. If you are a person that needs a lot of memory in your computer this is the laptop for you. It has a display mode/tablet mode that makes it easy to showcase your work or if you just want to play games in your touch screen computer.

Love this computer! It's light in weight, it's touch screen which is new to me but I'm loving it. The only thing that I wish was different it the color, it only comes in black.

I really like this ASUS laptop. It's very versatile (with the touch screen, ability to be like a tablet, etc.) . The weight of it is good and I like the touch of the keyboard. I would have rated it 5 stars but I have one complaint. The specs say the battery life is 6.5 hours. When mine gets to almost 5 hours, it tells me that my battery level is very low. I know it will go another hour, but, anyway, 6 hours is not long enough for me to go without plugging it in to be recharged. In the future, I suggest these laptops have a battery with a longer life. Also, I have noticed that the number keypad on the right of the keyboard has reduced the size of the "zero" key. I use that keypad a lot and up till now, I can use it without looking at it. When I use my thumb to input a zero, it hits the right arrow key, not the zero key. This is disappointing because I use the numbers there a lot (rather than the keys across the top of the keyboard). Except for these issues, I am very happy with this laptop. I would do it again.

This is an excellent machine. The sales person had great advice on why I should proceed with this purchase and it has not disappointed. Perfect for a high-end work machine.

This is a very good laptop for a college student.Plenty of storage and fast processor. It has all function needed for daily homework. I recomand this to all my friends.

I purchased this laptop for my daughter to take to college. She loves it. She does her school work and then can watch movie after that to relax.

When I went to the store to look at the various computers available I had no intention of making a purchase that day. I was pleasantly surprised to find a manager not only willing to assist but who also knew information about the products. He explained all aspects of the computers and their various functions. Since, I tutor online it was important that I had a reliable computer. This computer is reliable and it has great speed. I love the case. The only disappointment would be that it did not come with office. At these prices this should be an included feature. I would purchase again.

very user friendly, solid feel to the laptop holds charge long

Always been a Dell guy but lost confidence in their quality over the years. My son bought an Asus for his college lap top & I was impressed with his so when my last Dell died, I bought this one. Have had it about a year now & still happy with it.

I got this laptop on a really good sale for only $600, for that price the performance is nice but I can't see spending the $1000 price tag on this. The processor and memory are fine along with just about everything else except the HDD. It is painfully slow and out of the box it is steadily at or around 100% usage. The network card failed on this laptop within the first 2 months so it was sent out to a service center free of charge and returned within 2 weeks. Best Buy made everything very easy I have to give them credit on that. When I received it back they also replaced my HDD stating it was failing but the new one is still painfully slow and is always at high usage. This laptop does have a slot for a M.2 drive which will make a drastic difference. If the laptop is on sale then it is definitely worth the buy and use the money you save to buy a M.2 drive. At $1000 though, I would recommend looking at other models.

Bought this touchscreen laptop after it went on sale. The pricing made it a deal too good to pass up. Only complaint is the boot up speed is a bit slow compared to other laptops. Resists smudges and orange dust exceptionally well. Baron likes to use it to research favorite American heroes - Mr Manson, BTKer, Mr Bundy, Chef Dahmer

This is the best spec'd 2n1 out. It is very reliable and responsive. It handles everything thrown at it, while being stylish and consistent.

I purchased the Asus Q524UQ after researching many different models. I will be moving in the next several months and need a desktop replacement while transitioning to our new home. I had the following criteria: - 2-in-1 Design - Intel 7th Gen i7 - Numeric keypad - IPS Display for wide viewing angle - As light as possible - 8GB RAM minimum The Asus Q524 meets all my criteria and exceeds the memory requirement. I replaced the slow 5400rpm 2TB HDD with a Sandisk II 960GB SSD (about $250) and this baby is fast. Cold startup with the mechanical drive took about 90 seconds - now it takes about 15 seconds!! I didn't have any problems installing any of my software. Removing the few items of bloatware was easy and non-eventful. The only real problem I had was with my multi-function scanner/fax/printer software, which installed a fax driver that caused my Printers Control Panel to take forever to open. Once I removed the Fax driver and device everything was fine. The IPS display is excellent and allows a wide viewing angle for movies and pictures. My previous laptop was not IPS and if you were more than about 15' off center it was unviewable. I kept an eye on the Best Buy sales and picked this one up for $200 off normal price. Great deal and great 2-in-1 !!!

Fast, reliable and great value for what you get. Love that you can flip from tablet to computer. Light weight, so easy to travel with.

I originally was looking to buy the 2and1 HP x360 and was convinced to purchase this instead, not knowing a single thing about the product and so far so good! The laptop is quiet, light and quick (if you use the standard browser. Using Google Chrome doesnt make the best of all of the laptops features, I dont know if thats an issue through the browser or the laptop. But it wasnt the best combination, some pages on the browser dont be touch enabled, and sometimes slow whereas the edge browser, again standard, is very easy to use.

The slow HD needs to be upgraded. I put an 512GB M2 SSD in the available slot. It's now bllazing fast and handles 2017 Autocad well.

I like the overall construction and design of the laptop it's relatively thin and light weight and packs a bunch of cpu and graphic power my biggest gripe would be the placement of the on/off switch next to a volume control toggle of similar feel and look. countless times I've accidentally shut off the computer while trying to change the volume. doh. otherwise a good laptop

Great laptop! Works faster and battery will last. Can use it as a laptop or tablet. Worth buying! I would recommend it to anybody.
