This is my 2nd ASUS ROG in the past 6 months and I am having the same issues. When I turn it on it locks up. I either get this colorful pixelated screen or a grey screen. I have to manually turn it off and then back on and it keeps running an automatic disk repair. I had the 1st laptop into Geek Squad at least 5 times before they replaced it for this one but this one has the same issues (Thank you Geek Squad).. It is not Geek Squad's fault. This is an issue with ASUS. I had a prior ASUS laptop that was not a ROG and had to return it too for a multiple of issues. I think this is my last ASUS product!

This is my third generation of the ROG series, and I am still pleased as always. I tried a comparative MSI, but didn't care for the design or bloatware as much. Asus has some minor bloat, but most are useful or at least removeable. Solid, powerful, admittedly heavy machine. 10/10 would buy again.

This thing is a powerhouse! I upgraded to 48 gig of ram and do 3D modeling. No issues. Motherboard crashed 1 week after purchase and they had to send it back to Asus. All works well now.

I am still trying to be use the laptop, I did not realize it was a gaming laptop.

I bought this notebook for my wife as an early birthday present and she loved it, asus is a great company and the rog brand has treated me well.

does what i need it to do. i always recommend ASUS they haven't let me down .

I like this computer alot and it is what I wanted.

I just received this product. It seems like a good computer so far but it does not have the Blu-Ray player as advertised online. The pictures of the computer are not accurate either. You can see this product with a Blu-Ray player in the pictures but DVD Multi-recorder. You can cross the model number to the ASUS website and see that it does not come with a Blu-Ray player. BIG DISAPOINMENT but not a deal breaker so far.

This is the second laptop and I am just as happy as I was with the first one. This one however looks much nicer than last years model. Bought it for my son and he is super happy with it. Fast, fast, fast! All game settings are on the max and it does not even flinch! Not sure why the last guy gave it 1 star as that is not fair for this laptop at all.

Bought this pc a few weeks ago and im very impressed by how much power and how it pushes through some of the most demanding games like a desktop pc. i can easily run just cause 3 at max settings at 1080p.This pc is great for gaming a video editing.

Just got the laptop today, I like the large screen, and it can handle Entropia Universe on very high settings, so I am really happy, game looks awesome compared to 5 years of safety mode due to old laptop. The touch pad on this is a work in progress. I haven't figured it out yet, 1 tap starts the process, but seem to have to double tap everything. and use 2 figures to scroll. myabe somethign im missing there, so not dockin for that

The machine is good. But I have a disappointment. The part where rest becomes very dirty hands and when I try to clean not fit. The material used for this machine did not look good gets dirty very quickly, hands sweat by nature and are fingerprinted. I do not like that.

Order online and came in yesterday could not install my programs due to disk write error geek squad remote access my laptop and informed me that it would have to b exchanged now I have to wait another week before one can be shipped to me and hopefully this one will work.

I am a die hard ROG user. I have had them for years. I got one of these after my daughter broke my last one. I now have my third exchange on order. The first one had a bad backlight, the second one had a broken keyboard and the third one had a broken keyboard backlight. Extremely sad to see how much the quality has dropped in ASUS. Hopefully the fourth is good...

This is an extremely powerful laptop. It blows through anything I throw at it with ease. I use it for AutoCAD and Automotive ECU Tuning.
