I thought I had a nice sony vaio laptop but after purchasing this bad boy it blows that $800 computer out of the water. Amazing speed and graphics and love that it came with the division so i could test out the gaming right away. If you can afford it this computer is definitely worth the price!

The computer boots up and runs very fast. Everything about this computer is fast. Even the battery life dying. The only con I have about this laptop is the battery life. Wish it was longer.

Good gaming laptop, runs smoothly and whatever. The casing is clunky and feels cheap, track pad is the worst, and the speakers are terrible, though. Do what you want with that. I've had no performance issues

This laptop is incredibly fast and plays games very well. My only complaint is the battery life which is honestly about 1 1/2 max of normal use.

I bought one for my grandsons graduation, and decided to upgrade my dell at the same time. The red keyboard is hard for me to se since I use the hunt and pick method. My grandson loves his, he will use it in college.i am still trying to figure out windows ten.

I can't even tell you how many headaches I've had after owning this laptop for a little over a year. After 6 months one of my most needed programs stopped working and the computer kept throwing an error. I sent it in to get fixed, got it back and all of a sudden the battery lasts a few minutes with no low battery warning message, the volume stopped working and the keys stopped lighting up. I had to send it again to get it fixed. That was about 4 months of not having a functional laptop. And even if I hadn't had all those problems, the fatal flaw is the part solid state drive, part regular drive. I have Microsoft Office and TWO other programs install on the solid state drive and it's so full that the computer is starting to not function. Microsoft won't let me install Office anywhere else other than the solid state drive even though I've changed the setting to have all programs installed on the regular drive. This computer will be useless with one more update b/c there is no room for any programs to download any updates to the C: drive. I can't believe I splurged and spent $1300 on this laptop. I HATE it, it is the worst purchase I've ever made. I've addressed these problems with ASUS and Best Buy they've had no solutions for me. They shouldn't even sell a computer that can't handle loading any programs onto it especially for $1300! Don't buy any computer that is part solid state and part regular, b/c you'll still eventually run into this program with wanting programs that you can't install on any other drive than the C: drive.

This is my first brand new computer ever. I've always gotten refurbished. My last one was 10 years old and was over due for getting a new one. I really like this ASUS laptop. A couple of things to point out. One, it runs extremely hot which I wish the Best Buy rep would have warned me about. I had to buy a cooling pad for it. Also, the battery runs down within two hours when playing a game. Lastly, I was not told that it defaults to the smaller SSD drive when it saves files instead of the 1 TB hard drive part. I'm not an expert on that stuff and now I have to work on moving things over. So just an FYI. Otherwise this laptop is great. Boots up fast, opens my games fast, I like the crisp picture quality and sound. And I got a great price on it!

I Don't play games with this computer, I got it for its speed, yes it is fast, screen good, for me red lighted keys take it or leave it, great for photo work. Edit photos and Videos. 1 t hard drive great. Sound between good and great. I would recommend over HP as that is what I returned and got this computer.

It really is fast. I do a lot of video editing. I keep the solid state side as empty as possible and move files to it when I want to do video rendering. The 1tb hard drive allows me to keep the files on the computer. I don't have to travel with an external hard drive.

I'm not a gamer, but I wanted a laptop without lag time and with the performance level of my desktop machine at work. This was it! Bought in 2016 and it is now 2020 and this machine is a beast! I am very satisfied still. It is a BIG laptop at 17.3" and not light, but I'm using it as a desktop machine so that is fine. Plus, having worked from home for the last 20 + weeks (during covid era), this machine has not let me down. I use log me in to access my work computer and this keeps me at the speed at which I'm accustomed to at work. 4 years after purchasing this laptop at around $1200+, it was worth every penny!

We bought this computer so we could travel with our games. My husband has his own but he is awe struck by how fast and easy this computer is! Me too!! It takes a bit to get used to the new windows 10 but once you figure that out the computer almost reads your mind and is half way to being done before you know it. This computer works well as a desk top replacement and would highly recommend this for any gamers and for office users too.

I trade currencies and stocks and need a fast, dependable computer and I really like the Asus brand. I had purchased a desk top several months ago and so when I needed a new laptop for an upcoming seminar I pulled together all my requirements and looked at 8 different computers and this is the one that fit the requirements the best. It was not the least expensive, and it was not the most expensive. Very happy with my purchase.

I have purchased a few laptops prior to this thinking it would suffice for my needs. I was wrong. I do some home videos of the kids doing what they do so I didn't think I needed really powerful specifications for what I did. I was definitely wrong. I needed something that had a good amount of power as video editing was really the main function of why I wanted a laptop. I tried in the $650 range then spent $999 on another Asus but it just wasn't what I needed. The 6th Gen Intel® Core™ i7-6700HQ Skylake processor Powerful quad-core, eight-way processing performance made a HUGE difference and it was only $200 more than the previous model. The SSD drive was nice for the operating system also. Makes for fast startup and loading of apps. Overall for the money this was about the best balance of quality and money.

Gray machine. Easy setup. Very powerful. We are using it for 3D cad rendering. It is heavy. So the power comes with a price of added weight.

I am satisfied with the hardware and speed of the computer. The case leaves a lot to be desired. The edges cut into my wrists and the mouse pad is not sensitive enough.

Although this has been the best computer I've ever had, it did have some ups and downs in the beginning. Some programs didn't want to install, so I had to find ways to manipulate it. I kept getting a service error blue screen, due to a driver not complying well with Windows 10. After doing a lot of research and trying out a lot of things, I finally got it to work to its full potential. My boyfriend works as an IT and is a hardcore gamer and even he is jealous of this computer.
