From the initial unboxing to present, the laptop has delivered nothing but performance. Typical ASUS dependability and optimum delivery. This is my third ASUS ROG through the past 10 years. Although they have gone silver and red versus the standard previous black and red the contents remain top of line in performance and quality. Highly recommend this unit.

I like everything about this laptop except the keyboard is set too far back for me. The edge of the laptop digs into my wrist...curse my big hands. Its very quiet, fast, great looking screen.

I love this laptop, all my games load so fast. It starts up in seconds not minutes, and resumes from sleep mode even faster. I haven't had any issues with Windows 10, which surprised me. All of the applications that I use (there are alot of them) installed just fine. Flash player gave me problems for a while (which it does on any machine) but one of the recent updates "seems" to have fixed the issue, because my flash player has not crashed in a month. If you are looking for a good gaming laptop where you don't have to do much additional setup, this is the one. If you like to tweak the settings on your laptop, this is still the one (there are delivered applications that make tweaking the settings easy). If you want to install new hardware components, this is probably not the laptop for you.

Ordered and received then I spent less than 1 hour to setup for basic use. Fast machine and came with Win-10 home that I have upgraded to Win-10 Pro so it can run the many programs I will use over the next 5 years. Only one thing I would do different; I should have ordered it with a larger storage SSD. It came with a 256g SSD and a 1-T HDD but the 256g ssd is just not large enough to set up a dual boot system that I need (I need at least 8 different win-7 programs to use for several more years that Win-10 does not support). So I have just ordered today from Best Buy the Samsung 950 Pro 512g ssd and look forward to using this machine more when I use both Win-10 and Win-7 OSs. I am NOT a "gamer" of any kind but I need the speed/power/performance of a gaming machine so I cannot speak to any of the gaming features at all, haha.

I got this computer for college. Great new computer, it can do all my college school work and run computer games with ease.
