The ROG Ally Xbox X is an absolute powerhouse. I’ve used the Steam Deck, MSI Claw, and the previous ROG Ally X, and this latest version is a major upgrade. I was able to play Battlefield 6 and Call of Duty while docked to a 144Hz gaming monitor, and the experience was incredibly smooth—especially with the ROG Bulwark dock, which let me hardwire the device to the internet instead of relying on Wi-Fi. This handheld is seriously powerful. While I still use my gaming PC at home, the Ally Xbox X lets me keep playing seamlessly when I’m on the go. One important tip: if you’re using the Bulwark dock, make sure to get a 100W or 140W charger. The 65W charger that comes with the device isn’t enough to support the Turbo mode, and you’ll need that extra power to unlock its full potential. Overall, the Ally Xbox X is a beast. This thing is awesome ! I connected it to ALLY X, and the Xbox Ally and downloaded content using the wired internet. It makes the Ally X and the Xbox Ally X perform like a full computers on your TV or gaming monitor.

Amazing it connects to my Rog Xbox Ally fast. It's easy to use I recommend this for your ROG Xbox Ally the only con is the price is a bit high.

The design and feel to this is top notch! A must for the Xbox rog ally x! The lights on it are so beautiful.

Works as easy as you'd think and looks really cool at the same time. Also works with the Dbrand KillSwitch case on the ROG Xbox Ally X, although you have to open the KillSwitch kickstand to set it on the Bulwark dock, and you have to flip the dock's charging cable around so the 90 degree end is plugged into the dock itself and not the device. Or you can use the 90 degree end on the device if you use a USB-C extender to add height so the cable clears the case. If you don't have the KillSwitch case on the ROG Xbox Ally X then there's obviously no compatibility issues at all to work around.

Really nice docking station that goes well with my other ROG items. Has a good weight that prevents it from moving when docking and undocking my Ally.

Great stand with the name brand assurance that it wont screw up my $1000 investment. My only issue is theres no lip to hold it on the stand, just a slightly grippy strip. So far it’s held it in place just fine, even when puposely shaking the shef it’s on.

Cord broke, only had for 2 weeks and the 1st time we went to unplug the c to c cord fell apart (metal part came out) and we have tried to replace it and cant find the correct one to make it work.

Great for using as a desktop and even better with the addition of a longer cord to add ports to handheld mode. Sits at a great angle.

This has been great for my Asus Ally Xbox. All the port you need. External monitor, Ethernet, and more USB-C and A ports for expending and power. The Ally rests perfectly in the dock. Once connected, make sure you update the firmware for the Bulwark so you can access all of the features. They you can sync and just the colors of the front display lights. Display and other connected devices have worked with no issues. The only issue is the cable from the dock to the Ally is really short. But, I got a longer one and I can play while connected to the dock with no issues. Great for playing on a larger screen.

I use the dock for my rog xbox ally x. Very useful. It essentially turns the handheld to desktop mode with ports for accessories and a processor that upgrades the ally x. Not to mention the RGB can sync to it for ambience. It charges your device at the same time. No brainer. I use it to plug into a monitor or pc at work for bigger screen gameplay! Highly recommend!

Build quality is amazing. It is small so good for carrying around. 4k 120fps working without any problem. Works perfectly with Aura sync -Do not forget!- When you plugged in with this device you will see update on Armoury Crate. I would like to see hdmi cable in the box

The Asus ROG Bulwark dock looks nice and has a pretty solid build quality, but it lacks in a few areas. It does not include a power adapter, and it requires a 100w power supply to function properly. The included 65w charger with the Ally X is not enough for full functionality. At this price point, the 100w charger should be included. The unit also gets hot enough that it becomes uncomfortable to hold, all while just charging. I have never experienced this with other handheld pc docks. Ultimately, it is nice that the unit can fold up for portability, but the price is far too high when cheaper docks can be had for a fraction of the price and perform nearly as well. It's hard for me to recommend unless it's on a deep sale.

Super awesome! Really fast and cool rgb! Does 4k hooks up to all your needs ands its as small as a premature newborn baby!

I’ve been using this as my main setup for the ROG Ally and it’s been great overall. The ports are useful and it keeps everything tidy, but it’s definitely more of a stand than a full dock. You still have to plug the charging cable into the top of the Ally, unlike the Switch 2 where the port is on the bottom. Still, for what it does, it’s been reliable and works well for daily use.
