The only thing to be aware of is that it will need a BIOS update when using ryzen 3000 series cpus. Other than that I have not had a problem.

Paired it up with a ryzen 5 3600. Flashing the bios was a breeze using the USB bios flashback feature on this board. To me a bit to figure out how to stop the lights from staying on when powered off, there is a configuration in Bios that just needs changed.

Bios was a bit confusing at first. I came from an x370 Gaming Pro Carbon, great board by the way, and easy bios. The Hero became great to use after some googling and Youtube videos.

The 2700X I put in it is not as good. Board has plenty of ports in the rear as well as 6 sata ports inside. Just don't use the top M.2 slot if you want to use all the sata's.

Bought it to replace a motherboard with a bad ram slot. The computer runs well and is stable. I use to get random crashes with the original motherboard.

Generally I go for the cheapest that meets my needs but this is way beyond what I need ATM. It's got everything and great connectivity.

Had to manually tweak timings to get ram to recognized at rated speed. They really need to fix the bios on the ram issue.
