Fast powerful a great buy Price point makes this a can't miss

I love my new laptop! Great speed, reliability, and performance.

Have never used an asus before but i'm amazed at how good this one is, it can run a lot of different games perfectly (haven't messed with higher settings though) and its perfect for running programs such as game maker and unity. The startup is a bit slow coming off of a shutdown but afterwards it loads decently fast.

I bought this laptop to replace my broken one. This is a wonderful and well-made laptop. I like the screen quality (bright and clear), fast processor, light weight. I have the HDD upgraded to SSD, this laptop even runs faster. Starting windows 10 is just a couple seconds. Love this laptop. Thank both Asus and BestBuy for this wonderful product.

I use this laptop to perform many of my daily life functions. I use it to play world of warcraft, minecraft, and more. I also use it for college work and professionally for my job. The specs are awesome. It is easy to use and great for all uses. My games play great without sticking or freezing. I'm extremely happy with this laptop!

Excellent Laptop for games. Very fast Beautiful design

I bought this laptop for a mix of things. Mostly I bought it for school, considering it is very light and portable. Also bought it for future gaming and video editing on-the-go. All around, it's a very fast a reliable laptop and I would highly recommend it.

Great laptop for gaming, good size, worth the price

I'm usually not much of a reviewer, but I've thought up a list of great things and a few things that I don't like about this computer. I like: • relatively light and compact for a gaming computer • runs pretty much any game I've thrown at it on highest settings with good fps • price is really low for what you get I don't like: • could really use a SSD. I'm considering having geek squad install one in mine • mouse pad is not super responsive and kind of frustrating for those who aren't using a mouse. I prefer to have two actual buttons for clicking. Overall it has been a great computer so far. Leaps and bounds better than my old g74. I'd recommend to anyone who wants a great gaming laptop on a budget.

Had it for almost 7 months, no problems what so ever, runs all my games on ultra. Great and very stylish.

When I went in to buy this laptop, I was not anticipating walking out with such a great deal. The graphics card and processor put my old laptop to shame! I hardly go anywhere without it now, I can use it for school and to play the few games I actually have. All in all a wonderful laptop from a great brand

This laptop is fantastic. I'm a student, so i carry it to and from class 4 days a week. Great battery life when not gaming. Will last the whole day and still have half battery left. Hard drive isn't SUPER fast for some things, but the computer boots in 8 seconds, and never lags for anything unless I've been running some heavy production software, and then only when I close everything out. Gaming is great. 1080p 60FPS on all games with maxed or optimal settings. Runs skyrim with dozens of mods with ease, battlefield 1, battlefront, i very rarely drop below 60 fps, and when i do, it's only for a second. Love the matte screen, colors are good and never any glare. Comfortable keyboard too. My only gripe is when running some games at max specs, the GPU and CPU will push 75*C, but cools instantly when I push down the settings or exit the games. Totally recommend this laptop. It's not super expensive, and it rivals some other $1500+ gaming laptops out there with the same or worse graphics card.

Anything new usually works good, so we will have to wait and see in 6 months but for now, this computer is awsome. fires up quickly loads programs like they were meant to be loaded. If you don't upgrade, to this level you are seriously missing out on the best computer experience you will ever have.

While not top of the line, it does better than others for a similar price. Serious gaming should not be done on a laptop, but this one can do more than most. Speed and memory are above par, just wish it had a dvd, but that is easily fixed with an external for little money.

Would totally recommend this computer to anyone looking for a fairly portable computer or anything else. I'm a moderate computer user so I can't completely get into why this is a good option. However, for what's it's worth, this average computer user really likes it.

I bought this as an open box laptop for my 10 year old who plays online games. He does games on steam, plays roblox, minecraft and the typical games for his age. This has been the perfect laptop for him - no issues and handles everything he wants to play. Would definitely recommend.

This is a great laptop. That being said, main storage is a 5,400 rpm HDD installed (regardless of the Best Buy main page indicating an SSD). This really hurts the performance. On the other hand, there is an open m.2 PCI-E slot just begging to be filled with a blazing fast SSD boot drive. Once I installed the m.2 SSD, my boot time dropped from minutes, to seconds. It is a MUST HAVE upgrade. I plan on replacing the 1TB HDD at some point with a SATA SSD, but that is long term goals. The display panel is not the best, but is okay for general use, though I do not plan on doing any paid photography work using it. Other than those two drawbacks, the i7 CPU, 12 GB RAM, and 970M dedicated GPU make this machine a sweet one.

I'm not a gamer but I bought the computer for editing video. It seemed to do fine but after a week I decided to return it due to the amount of time it was taking to render in Premiere. Otherwise, it was great. Would recommend for gaming but not for creating.
