This laptop is fast and powerful! Only reason for the 4 stars is because my keyboard went out and i had to bring it back to bestbuy for servicing. Asus quality is remarkable

On the first day of owning this laptop. I experienced my first failure. It was a speaker fail. The speaker would not work even after factory reset. ASUS Tech Support was very helpful in making sure that it was in fact a bad device and not a bad user. Other than that. I just have to complain about the jet that is living in my laptop and the fire pit that is burning every time I turn a CPU/GPU intensive game on. But still out of all of that. It is a great laptop and will be exchanging it tomorrow for another.

I have been enjoying my computer very much. The only thing I can complain about is the loud fan. But that’s not even noticeable when you’re playing with headphones.

if you are a gamer, go with ASUS hands down. This laptop has enough fire power for everything I do on it. I will be purchasing more products from ASUS in the future.

I bought this Christmas Eve it has replaced my Alienware from 2016. Highly recommend great video card. Really fast actually I had to slow down some of my older games.

My last ASUS ROG laptop lasted over 6 years. Finally decided to upgrade for a newer processor and better graphics card. So far, I am very happy with the GU501.

Good laptop for any type of game and personal use Screen has good image quality and the processor is very powerful

Using it to game and write code love it the only thing I wish for is color changing keyboard but I get good FPS in games couldn’t complain yet!

I got this laptop to game on as well as do web development on. I haven't had any issues playing games. One thing I do notice is that the top part of the keyboard area, gets very hot while gaming. There are fan settings on this laptop and I use the high speed setting when gaming and it gets very hot still. It gets almost too hot to touch. The other thing I do on this laptop is a lot of development and so far, this laptop has been great for that. One thing I don't care about this laptop is the storage size. I will need an external hard drive if I want to download a lot of big games.

If you can stomach the ROG styling, this is a good laptop with fairly powerful internals. The hybrid drive helps speed up boot time!

Cannot complain about the product, great speed, very reliable... having to adjust the bios for the deafening start up animation was the only knock I have.

My son seems to enjoy his new laptop! His purpose to to start writing music and record. He chose this laptop for its purpose. He always on it !

I purchased this laptop for work and gaming. It has been a great machine and the graphics are amzing. The case is well constructed and it is a tough unit.

Great gaming laptop for the price. Powerful enough for most games but it does get loud when fan kicks in. Mostly expected for such a thin gaming laptop.

Can play all games I've tried at 1080p on ultra settings with good frame rates. Had some issues with asus software initially... otherwise would be a 5/5

I want to know more things I can do it with but it has helped me out so much with work and down town I would recommend it to my friends for sure very fast.

This laptop is great. Planning to use it for school (and some gaming of course). The graphics are great and the games are fluid. I am very happy with it.

Love this laptop runs smoothly no problems playing all my games on it. Cool features to improve game play experience. Definitely worth the price.

First laptop I've owned love the ssd as computer boots up in seconds after a complete shutdown. Highly recommend
