I really like this laptop so far. I've had it about a week, purchased to replace my stolen desktop. This is quick and fulfills my needs nicely as a gamer/business owner. My only complaint is how much work needs to be done to secure a new install of Windows 10 due to Microsoft selling Win 10 to violate privacy as a default. After about an hour of tweaking settings I was finally able to use my system.

I have been looking for a good gaming computer for months; and after considering just dropping my life savings for an Alienware laptop, I found this Asus ROG Laptop. Great core processor, oculus ready, and included two games with purchase which was a nice benefit. It runs really well and I got the keyboard to sync with my gameplay so the lights correspond with the game. would recommend.

The main reason I bought this laptop was to use it at university and I'm enjoying it so far. Most of the software I use runs great and I haven't noticed any major problems. As for gaming it runs pretty good. I get decent frames and never really had to worry about it overheating. Overall, I recommend this laptop if your willing to spend a good chunk of cash for it.

I am coming from a 300 dollar laptop, this is such a big come up. Like its honestly amazing. The speakers are alright but the performance like wow it actually lets me run all the games i wanted to run before with no issue ESPECIALLY FORZA 4. Its pretty quick and i honestly like the fan noise of the boost. Makes me think of like a turbo for a laptop.

I was choosing between the Asus and the MSI GS63 and I have to say, I am glad with the choice that I made. The big knock on the MSI was the touchpad and the Asus reminds me of my Macbook Pro that I switched from. The Asus touchpad is a little small but overall it works very well and they keyboard is great. The fans do rev up pretty high while gaming but its not overbearing by any means. I play with my computer on a cooling mat which significantly helps the heat and keeps the fans running lower which I would recommend. All of the fan settings can be adjusted, I have them set to balanced and have had no real issues with the sound. This computer is certainly built for performance and it performs great. I was running League of Legends on High settings at 90fps with no issues or lag. The graphics are awesome and 120Hz screen looks amazing. The only cons that I have seen so far is the bloatware that comes pre-installed on the computer, but it took all of 5 min to delete. Well worth it. Not having and ethernet port is also a downside but there are options to use the Thunderbolt 3 port to connect one. Overall, this is a great mid-level gaming computer for a good price. Definitely would recommend

Bought this product for gaming and productivity, and the device has impressed on both accounts. Games like Destiny 2 and Overwatch ran smoothly on this laptop, with no thermal throttling, despite a full GTX 1060 within a thin chassis. The design quality was also a plus, with brushed aluminum combined with a sleek design.

I purchased this laptop for gaming & school work, and am so glad that I did. At the time of purchase, the price was significantly lower than the retail price. This machine is buttery-smooth, fast, and powerful. I recommend this to anyone looking to get into PC gaming, but don’t want to break the bank.

Compared different brands and stores and for what this is going to be used for, it had the best features, like huge memory, can add on to it later, good reviews, was recommended by other users, and the price was very comparable. If performance is all it seems to be will change to 5 stars in a few months.

Buyer beware, proceed at your own risk. This thing is powerful, however, it thermal throttles a lot due to lack of ample cooling, even with a laptop cooler. Also, if you want to use GSYNC on an external monitor (this doesn't have one) then you're out of luck as this doesn't have a Displayport. I was considering getting a GSYNC Compatible FreeSync monitor to counter this but I'm getting mixed signs online if it works or not with HDMI 1.4 or Thunderbolt 3 to Displayport. I keep regretting this purchase but it's what I am stuck with for a few years. Battery life is decent if you know how to manage power, somewhere around 4 hours. Overall, it's cool if you only want to use it as a laptop that can game, but it gets hot, and if you are the kind of guy who wants that Adaptive Sync tech, look elsewhere.

I got this laptop on sale at Best Buy for $1199. That is a great price for a laptop with 120hz panel with a 3ms response time. The 8th gen Intel Core i7 with a GTX 1060 graphics card make it a real power house for content creation which will be my main use for this laptop. It also is a very capable gaming machine and games look incredible smooth on that 120hz IPS panel. I did do a few upgrades. I added an additional 16GB of RAM, not because it needed more memory but because I wanted the performance boost from running Dual Channel memory. I also swapped out the slower 1TB HDD with a 1TB Samsung 960 EVO Sata SSD . I am still booting and running the operating system from the 128GB SSD. The system boots in 12 seconds from full power off. But probably my favorite part of the laptop is its build quality. It feels like it will last. You will not find a laptop at at this price range with this level of build quality and power. Not to mention how thin it is just 0.7" thin. Very happy with my purchase.

Just recently picked up on of these because I would be moving around a lot and wanted portability and power. This laptop does the job and has a beautiful and sleek design. Would recommend to anyone. Screen bezels are a little thick for my liking, but everything else is good.

The first impression of this machine was amazing, is very pretty, It is light and thin, has very good finishes and very well built. It is solid. Quick start, durable battery, very comfortable keyboard.What I would change is the size of the charger which is very big.

It runs perfect when playing games or searching through google watching youtube, its perfect for 1k or higher up, even though it is expensive its largely good, just don't get any viruses or you'd have to bring it back to the geek squad to fix it but over all its good!

We purchased this laptop a month ago for use with a high graphics program and a golf simulator. So far it has handled both with ease. Obviously not at the same time. We have had no problems at all with this machine and look forward to several years of service.
