I'm not used to having a laptop/computer capable of running the latest games with beautiful graphics, and this laptop allows exactly that! The resolution of the screen, paired with the internal parts makes any game that I play run smoothly even with high graphics.

My main gripe is with Best Buy. They held my order and would not fullfill because they didn't want to say it was out of stock. Had to transfer to another store for pickup. Having said that, it's not a bad machine but would not pay full Best Buy price. Got it on my wife's company discount and saved about $300. On the issues with the keyboard. Out of the box, there was some sort of software/firmware problem with the upper right number keys. Typing more than one or two keys in a row (only on those keys) would put the machine in sleep mode. I thought it was a hardware issue. Called ASUS Tech and they suggested doing a reset and restore as sometimes the machines leave the factory with a bad image. Did that and the problem just disappeared. Crazy! The three stars are strictly due to the out of the box issues. Should never happen on a $1,500 (discounted) machine.

I am studying computer programming since I know I need a computer I decided to buy one that fits for both purposes gaming and studying I only play sonic generations and Minecraft but the game looks beautiful and smooth ill give a try to fortnite later since I know its going to run very fast

I looked at a lot of different laptops in this spec range and this one was easily one of the best. Solid construction, great specs and looks amazing. Would easily recommend to anyone in this spec range! I am receiving points in the ROG Elite Rewards loyalty program for my review.

Been playing around with this laptop for a few days and have been highly impressed. The finish on the chassis is aesthetically pleasing. The audio from the built in speakers has been way better then i expected! Highly recommend this unit to a new PC gamer such as myself.

This is a very good laptop. Everything works great. My complaints are that out of the box the corner piece of my laptop below the screen is broken, and the mouse pad does not always seem to work perfectly. Other than those two small problems I love this computer.

I play a lot of league of legends and this works beautifully for it. So far I am very impressed by how well it is preforming while I play music, play league, and use discord all at the same time. Will edit once Ii have had it longer but so far so good

The screen didn't work on the first one I picked up. However, the staff was super friendly and helpful and the replacement is absolutely amazing.

This is my first ever gaming laptop and it has been a great laptop so far. Runs smoothly and can play triple A title games at high and sometimes at Ultra settings. The 120hz screen is really nice too along with its 1080p display.

So, everything was going great the first 4 weeks. Suddenly, 10 - 20 FPS in all the games. Before this behavior (3rd week) had crashes of some games and unexpected FPS drops. Task manager shows 90 - 100% of GTX usage (not sure if it is expected). Thought it was a Nvidia issue so went ahead and checked Drivers, changed Nvidia settings, used different monitors, same issue. In addition, typical ##%, plugged in not charging. Decided to Restore PC keeping files... same issues. Did a complete factory reset, unbelievable but both problems are still happening. Already tried advanced troubleshooting for both issues and nothing seems to work. Benchmarks confirm this unit is working below expectations, so it is not a GPU issue as the CPU is also working terrible. The whole system is getting around 25 - 40% of its real power. For ex, 12 FPS running PoE in full graphics. Graphic intense games are impossible to play in high settings. Contacted Asus and after CERO help (did you try to reboot the laptop?) they told me to contact best buy to replace the laptop. Sounds easy but not when you live in Costa Rica. I know this is a great product but most likely I have a defective one. I guess now I'll have to go to my "nearest store" so I can get a new laptop. I hope Asus read this, I still have some hope this is a known issue and they have a magic step for me to try and fix my ROG laptop :-)

This is a great laptop for gaming. My only hang-up was that none of the drivers were up to date, so I had to manually fix all of them myself. Other than that, this laptop is my dream come true.

The laptop comes with a great graphic card, although it seems only for gaming, it can also help with engineering programs like AutoCAD or SAP2000, the processor is a monster too.

This laptop is amazing. I bought this to have a nice gaming laptop while I was away for the military and this is perfect. Plays all of my games easily, and stays at an awesome temp.

Overall it has a very good performance goot ram and hdd and everything pretty good too but I have had a problem with the rog gaming center being corrupted in the first week.

Great "do all" laptop, creat invoices and do calculations, manage spreadsheets all while playing some games in the background. Great speaker quality aswell. fast charging

The laptop is great, I am not used to play with laptops but you hardly notice a difference vs a desktop one with this, also the keyboard layout is very comfortable.

Dont really game but needed something to handle massive photos in photoshop and lightroom. Needs a bigger SSD but I knew what I was getting when I bought.

I purchased this laptop earlier today and so far everything has be great. Easy setup. Nice aesthetics. Good Sound. Great picture quality. Very responsive.
