This is a really good laptop. Unbelievably thin, sturdy build, and semi-gaming yet not tacky looks, amazing specs for the price (especially when on sale), good speakers, slim bezels are its most prominent why-to-buys. There is no Webcam, which I don't miss personally No fingerprint or windows hello, which I fixed by buying a USB fingerprint sensor on amazon. Has single channel 16 GB RAM, which can be fixed by adding another RAM. Similar specs laptops (Razer blade RTX 2060, MSI Stealth etc) are a few hundred dollars more expensive. So this laptop is a great deal.

Open box item. In good shape. No power cord. The devices battery doesn't get near what it says doing even basic things and it gets a little too warm. However, it's a killer machine in every other respect. Games, videos and work are all a breeze on this super laptop. Would recommend to anyone!

The build quality on this Asus is beyond expetation. I like how light the computer is to carry around, it has a nice form factor and the computer graphics are really good for gaming. I have zero wifi connectivity issues and zero screen lag when playing at high quality. The RGB keyboard is a nice touch, would recommend to my family and friends. Ive had this laptop for a month now and have ran into ZERO issues. You are definitely getting your bang for your buck. I only recommend ASUS ROG products if you want something that will last.

I have waiting so long to get this and it is worth every penny. Its a beast. In my house we have msi gs 65, hp omen and this beats them in every way. The best thing about this model is its thermals it didnt cross 75 with heavy gaming my omen never falls below 90. Only drawback is its battery life. They advertised it as 6 hrs but i hardly get 3 hrs on normal usage. If you want battey backup go for msi gs 65 with 9th gen i7 and 32gig ram whic costs 1999. It gives you more than 5 or 6 hrs minimum. But if.you want metal body and quality go for this. This feels like razer blade with asus logo on it.

I'm not much of a tech person so I can't explain all the perks of this pc indepth but I can say that the performance definately outperforms a lot of other pcs at a decent price. The drawback of this is the fans being loud and even when I'm not gaming the laptop still heats up.

This laptop performs on the same lvl as a mid to high end gaming desktop! I added 16gb ram upping it to 32gb and it’s a beast! The only downside is poor battery life but that’s expected with gaming laptops. It does great on temperature but the fans are loud. I use headphones so it’s not a problem. Overall this is a great laptop.

I've owned many gaming laptops but by far this is the best I've owned yet. Asus did a great job on how light weight and compact the laptop is. So far the laptop has been doing great with gaming and not over heating. I was a little skeptical about the size of the laptop for being a gaming laptop but don't let the size fool you. Overall everything feels great about this laptop.

I'm overall very happy with this purchase! Great graphics, solid and different levels of performance rates for different game intensities, and great battery life. The ROG symbol that lights up on the lid is badass, but the laptop tipped over on my carpet and a popcorn kernel was hiding where it fell and it hit the cool symbol and cracked my display. $170 fix. If you buy this, I'd recommend finding some way to protect it from random damage that WILL happen. Also, the charger port is in a really awkward place and the majority of the USB ports are on the right side where my mouse I've got plugged in bumps into all the time.

Being a gamer and photographer makes it hard to have a laptop that can keep up with me but this laptop proved me wrong. I have lightroom, photoshop, as well as my steam account and it still runs very fast. Haven't had any problems so far. Definitely reccomend if you don't mind using a laptop for PC gaming. I will say it gets very warm fast but that's any laptop imo.

This gamer is amazing, runs new games at incredible rates at the higher settings. The only issues as with almost all laptops especially gaming systems is the heat it produces. It basically requires a cooling pad to use or setting it higher on the ends or back. But other than that it's perfect, and fkd the price it's better than most in the same range.

such a good combination with the processor and great amount of ram and an excellent graphics card with a good amount of memory. I'm really happy I purchased this and caught it on sale so it was a steal. I could play any game I want to honestly and that's all I can ask for. Also overall build and quality of this model feels so nice and smooth. I highly recommend.

I’ve never been much of a laptop gamer and after reading a bit I guess the heat is somewhat normal. I ended up returning it to put money towards new components for my desk top pc. Having temps creeping up towards 100 Celsius just bothered me. And the fans get really loud. Even playing a game like hollow knight it was around 88-90 Celsius and fans loud. That said, if you don’t mind the heat and noise it can run all the new games at high fps high settings. Ray tracing in metro looked awesome. Also used photoshop a bit and that ran well. Basically it can run games well but gets hot and loud

The laptop screams good quality in every aspect possible, from hardware to build quality to the display. Colors are bright vibrant and pleasing, the 144 hertz refresh with 3 ms is nice with quick precise movement on the display. My only gripe with the display is if only you could hit that 144 frame rate locked all the time. battery life is ok, don't expect to be blown out of the water. The temperatures of the cpu and gpu are the main problem. The gpu hits 70c on average and it usually isn't maxed out because the cpu hits a whopping 90 to 95c! Even on a flat or raised surface and an undervolt to the cpu it wasn't enough. To wrap this up, you won't be disappointed when you buy this laptop except for the battery life and temperatures.

    Asus ROG Laptop

To start off, this is my 3rd Asus ROG gaming laptop that I've purcahsed over the last 8 years. The only reason I updated is just to get a faster laptop, and have more up to date cpu, video card, etc. I have had this GU502GV now for about 3 weeks and it's great. The performance is great. I'm not much for playing games online, but I occasionally do a few FPS and strategy games. I have played Insurgency Sandstorm and Call of Duty without any issues, and have most of the graphics turned all the way up with great frame rates. Running games, the fans do get loud, but having all of that heat in this tight compartment, it's not surprising. I use a thin 11x14" plastic cutting board on my lap to put the laptop on and it works great. Keeps the airflow moving since it's not right on my lap, and the laptop fits perfectly on it with no overhang. Other than gaming, I mainly use the laptop for surfing the net and watching youtube videos, along with typical MS word and excel. I also run Autocad on this and have had great results with the graphics. I would definitely recommend this laptop. If it lasts as long as my two previous Asus ROG laptops, I will be satisfied.

I am not much of a gamer, so this review may seem somewhat irrelevant - however, I have really liked this computer so far. I bought it for a general-use computer and to use for 3d designing, and so far it has fulfilled my expectations. It does tend to run hot, even when used for general browsing, but it seems to be able to handle about anything I have used it for without any problems. The only thing that I would change is the lack of a camera, which makes skype/zoom meetings impractical. Otherwise, it seems to be quite solid and as powerful as advertised. I got the computer on sale, so it was a good value for me, but I am not sure I think it is worth the full $1,850 that it normally costs.

Best gaming laptop I ever owned!

This is by far the best gaming laptop I've ever owned, runs way much faster than my old gaming PC. This laptop is also by far beautiful too, with NVIDIA RTX 2060 running every game you play plus with intel i7 generation 9, this laptop is unstoppable. But this laptop is also better for whatever you're looking for too whether it be for gaming or simply just for work. The Asus ROG Gaming Laptop has proven itself far more capable than just any normal or gaming laptop, the Asus delivers an incredible performance as well as a long lasting battery. Runs with the latest windows and has great memory. Just a bit pricy but when you're getting this laptop you're getting high quality stuff, which is why for me as a hardcore gamer I would recommend anyone who's trying to get a gaming laptop to have this or if you're just looking for work this laptop is also good for you too since you can tackle any heavyweight task given to you with whether it be for video editing or programming this laptop is right for you for whatever you need.

Great laptop for games! I've played Rainbow Six Siege at max graphics, and some other games and I've had no issues and no real frame drops that I've been aware of. It does run a little loud, so I would be cautious of that - I have noise cancelling headphones so I hardly notice until I take those off. The keyboard and mouse pad work great, if you're playing games on it though, I recommend more ergonomic options, so buy a separate m&k if you're going to play for extended periods of time. It's run games while I streamed seamlessly which is great and something I haven't experienced before, so I streamed every day for like a week straight. The novelty has worn off since then but it was a good run. The NVIDIA replay is a super nice feature that lets you grab clips as you go through your games, and it's pretty intuitive. If you're saving lots of clips or take a long time to edit, I recommend getting an external hard drive to go with it, since the 1TB SSD fills up pretty quickly. Overall, great machine!
