I would give it 5 stars, but the battery life is very bad. It can't even keep 3 hours worth of charge while of playing. Other than that I love it. I really like the volume and mic buttons at the top instead of using the F keys to turn it down. The speakers sound nice and the graphics are great.

Nice laptop. Quick boot up, nice screen and worked flawlessly. My only issue was the noise. Also, keep in mind, these laptops aren’t as good as the desktop. But if you need something on the go, with some power and can handle the noise, this is a nice pickup.

Any ASUS ROG is great but with the RTX 2060 you’ll really enjoy the experience and a mid-level price range. To find a gaming laptop under $2000 with the capabilities this has to offer is phenomenal. I play League of Legends and Dota2 at over 180fps. Now I limit it to 80fps because I don’t need more for this game but it’s excellent. I also play Destiny 2 and can get over 100fps in ultra high settings. Well recommended product.

I have been impressed with the speed of this laptop. After spending days looking through reviews and getting hands on other laptops, this came out the winner by a long ways. We use it for video and phot editing. Nice brilliant sceen.

I needed a good upgrade and after searching for a while this beauty pops up on sale. It is light sleek very fast and powerful. I’m new to pc gaming but this thing is smooth. Only issue is the fan can get kinda loud at times but it doesn’t disappoint.

It is a beast very economical and can run any process you throw at it , just that unfortunately it doesnt have inbuilt webcam and sd card reader you probably need to buy em apart from that it is a go to piece for gamers in beginning level !

I've had this laptop for 2 years to the day. Overall it's been a great laptop. It's my first ASUS and at the time it was in the top 10 gaming laptops for 2020. The biggest beef I have with this is the overheating and crashing. Don't think about playing any steam games without getting the blue screen 95% of the time. I even recently discovered there's an ORANGE screen! I haven't seen seen the blue screen this much since Windows 3.5 days. If you're a WOW, FF, SWOR, etc type player it handles things pretty well. It's only been recently (last 6 months approx.) it will occasionally overheat, freeze > crash restart.

Easy setup and customization. Runs most games without a problem. Only issue I have with it is the heat it gives off. Once you fire up a game this thing becomes a space heater. I would recommend getting a cooling mat with it.

I was looking for a gaming laptop that could play games like wow, No Mans Sky and State of Decay 2. I have to say this laptop (with the extra 16g memory stick) has been amazing. Like previous reviews the fans are loud but hay so what they do a good job keeping the core of the laptop cool. I like the armory crate and how you can see how your laptop is performing even while playing.

I purchased the computer so that I could use it for computer modelling. In that regard it works very well in that it's fast and image quality is very good. I have also loaded Anthem on the computer and when I'm playing it, it seems to suck the life out of the battery, but that me be the case for any computer. One thing I didn't know prior to buying the computer is that the 16 Gig memory is soldered in place which means if you want to expand the memory you're locked in to matching the memory that is already in place. With regard to start up the computer is very quick so can get down to business quickly. I also like the fact that there was no bloatware on this computer. Not sure if that was because this was an open box buy or that is way Assu sells the pc. Either way it's nice not having a tone of extraneous stuff that you really don't want cluttering your system.

I love this laptop. I had to replace my Asus Zenbook mid semester and this PC was on sale. It seemed like a good fit at the time. It became an essential tool to complete school and now runs current gen PC games at a smooth 60fps. I couldn’t be more pleased with this device at the price I paid. This is my third Asus PC, so I will remain an Asus fan for life.

The HW specs are great. Complaints are; keyboard keys don't feel good when using. Fans are extremely loud which I understand there needs to be sufficient cooling...but it's a bit loud. Expect to stay tethered to the ac outlet.

Decent starter; 16gb RAM upgrade req. for quality

Great all around except for one detail; it starts with 16gb of single-channel RAM. 16gb of RAM is impressive but it performs way better when it runs as dual-channel 2x8gb (even 2x4gb provides more benefit than 1x16gb due to the speed increase from dual stream as opposed to a debatably unnecessary capacity upgrade {more than 8gb of RAM is unnecessary unless you're doing creative work or playing beefy games at high graphics.}) If you want this laptop to operate at 100% get a 2nd 16gb RAM to access dual-channel performance and overload on RAM for upcoming next-gen beefy games with top-tier graphics.

Gamer's Dream Laptop w/ Professional Business Look

First all, let me say that this thing is a straight workhorse! Despite it being the thinnest laptop I have ever owned (or even used), it is more powerful than most desktops out there. It can play any game on the highest settings at 60 fps or higher (1080p) & boy does the 144 Hz LCD screen look great! Although, when playing the lastest releases that demand the CPU maxed out and the GPU overclocked (which is as easy as the click of a button) it does get loud, and headphones that cover the ear are required to enjoy the sound. This is to be expected for any laptop of this caliber, however, that is playing that latest AAA games, but surprisingly this baby is able to stay below 90 degrees celsius even when gaming for 8+ hours...that means that you will always stay below the throttle limit that causes significant dropped frames/stutter (please keep in mind this is with a laptop cooler at max settings). As for daily, everyday use, or even school-related tasks (i.e. Chrome or Microsoft Word/PowerPoint) the Zephyrus M (GU502GV) is able to handle them with ease. Also, this computer is "per-key RGB", so you are able to fully customize the keyboard in any way you can imagine with a significant amount of creative tools and effects to make for cool RGB layouts. Personally I think the "rainbow" RGB effects (comes as a stock effect) is the coolest. The only reason I gave this 4 stars and not 5 stars is because it does take significant time learning to manually update certain built-in apps and drivers whereas my last gaming computer (Dell G3) had a simple and easy to use program that would search for and automatically update all dell apps and drivers. Asus, on the other hand, clearly doesn't have fluent English speakers that code their apps and you will find a considerable amount of spelling and errors & for every driver/program that doesn't automatically update through "Windows Update" will have to be manually done (like the I had to manually update to the latest BIOS, which if done wrong can cause your computer to no longer function & will cost you money to fix it most likely). So if you don't mind taking the time to learn how to manually update a few drivers/programs (most are updated automatically in WIndows update thankfully) and you are looking for a gaming laptop that will be able to handle the latest releases for the next few years at high settings (and every game at the highest settings thus far released) that is also low-key enough (super thin, all black, sleek, sexy, easy to travel especially with a usb-c charger) to bring to class or a coffee shop, do NOT hesitate...this thing is a DREAM.

The ASUS ROG GU502V Gaming Laptop is a blazing laptop. I would say the only bad thing is that it tends to heat up so you might want to get a cooling pad to go underneath it. So far it runs everything I want perfectly.

I have purchased this about a month ago. Performance is good but couldve been better, but that does not matter for me because I got this laptop during its sale price and I also love the sleek, stealthy look of the laptop. I wanted to see what gaming on pc is like so I decided on this laptop as I saw the specs look decent for what it was.

All around great gaming laptop. The only problem is the volume of the fans, but a little extra fan noise is worth keeping the processors cool. The laptop does get a little warm around the vents so a lap desk and/or cooling pad would be recommended for lap use.

I Think this is great all around mid range priced laptop. I did add an additional 16gb of memory to my laptop after purchase. I can play any games on ultra high settings. The fans are bit noisy but that is expected with a gaming laptop. I prefer the keyboard to my previous MSI laptop that I had for five years.

Purchased in Jan 2020, the best laptop I've ever owned, suits my needs of CSGO at near 110 fps at 1440p via external monitor, upgraded ram to 32 gb, plays most AAA titles on high settings at around 50 fps, beautiful screen, beautiful per key RGB
