It's a very solid product. All the buttons feel great and it has a really good pulling rate and feature set and is a better deal feature for feature than the scuff valor Pro or the elite series 2. For my hands the way I hold Pro controllers, it's a little uncomfortable but I think the vast majority of people will be happy with it

Got this for my ROG Xbox Ally X when I played docked to my tv. It’s a bit pricy but it has a built in armory crate button as well as all the Xbox buttons. Some people may not like the “clicks” buttons but I actually do. I’ve only been using it for about a week so I can’t comment on the battery length but it’s advertised as lasting 50 hours. Overall I’m really enjoying it.

Honestly love this controller. The price seems a little steep, but it holds up to the other premium controllers on the market. The mouse click triggers are fantastic for FPS games, and I really like how all of the other buttons are mouse click as well, instead of being spongey.

I can’t recommend this controller. You can’t access customization unless you’re on windows. Everything about this controller is pretty good. I have no real notes for how to improve the controller. The price is hard to stomach. I have a $50 gamesir controller that feels cheap compared to this but is every bit as good as this controller. I bought this to be a companion to my Xbox ally x but the armory crate button doesn’t work outta the box. You have to manually set it yourself. Why? Yeah I would skip this one.

Buttons for Armoury Crate and Library mirror the buttons on the Xbox Ally itself, and the Aura Sync RGB with the stick lights and other ROG peripherals is really nice. High quality.

Let's start off with a bad, the TMR thumb sticks are pretty bad. Even through a couple of updates they are not that responsive. Especially, in the very beginning when you want to start tracking a enemy in shooting games. Almost feels delayed, and that's with zero dead zone. The back buttons are placed in the perfect spot but the shape of them makes it feel awkward. Similar placement like the razor wolverine V3 Pro but that one has better shaped buttons. The software app is really limited. The thumb sticks movement during gameplay is what makes this a huge deal breaker. Plus, you can get a game sir G7 Pro Wireless with all these features for $100 and a razor wolverine V3 Pro Wireless on sale for way less than this too not to mention the wired version under $100. * For the good things, the controller feels premium. The materials feel amazing especially around where your palms hold the controller. Kind of feels velvetish. All buttons feel responsive and the thumb sticks material feels great. Kind of feels different around the edge but in a good way. The controller looks great. A+ for cosmetics.wish they would have added 2 more extra buttons at the top. Unfortunately, for this price I cannot recommend this controller. There are too many options out now that give all these features plus awesome apps, and great customer service. This controller should be around $120. I purchased this and received it the day it hit the shelf. I've put in a few hundred hours of non-stop competitive FPS gameplay. I ended up returning it for a full refund due to the issues I listed above.

I was honestly super excited for this controller. Ever since my Xbox Elite 2 and it's terrible stick drift, I have been looking for the perfect controller to replace it. Honestly, what I really want is just the Elite 2 with TMR sticks. So I tried the Turtle Beach, which was horrible. Next, I tried the Gamesir G7 Pro which was was ok overall, but it had poor build quality, resulting in a stick that wouldn't center and buttons that wouldn't always work. Finally, I tried the Scuf Valor Pro Wireless which seemed like all I could ask for. Unfortunately, at the time of writing it has a bug on console where it will randomly disconnect mid game and takes 30 seconds to shut down and reboot. So this controller seemed like the perfect solution, and I purchased it the day it went in stock. When I got it, I did notice it was lighter than the Scuf, but overall felt very solid. I like the back button feel much better than the Scuf too. Unfortunately, Asus made a few horrible choices with this controller when it comes to configuration, and it's missing basic quality of life features all of the aforementioned controllers have.
- First thing I noticed is it has no app for the Xbox, which is kind of crazy for an Xbox controller. Ever one of the controllers I had tried before this, even the budget Gamesir, had an Xbox app to configure the controller. You can map buttons manually on the controller, but anything beyond that can't be done on Xbox. Which is definitely annoying, considering they inexplicably decided to set the deadzone default to 10%, which is high even for a regular potentiometer stick. Even a mobile app would be better than nothing.
-The only option to configure or update your controller is having a PC. And instead of an app, they decided to use a browser based utility that's incredibly janky. I can't explain why they would have thought this was a good idea; honestly a lot of people probably don't have a computer, especially if you're gaming on console you can do basically everything on your phone. But even if you have a PC, it's a huge pain to have to drag it out to make configuration changes when you're playing on Xbox.
- This controller lets you set up 5 separate profiles with custom configurations and button mapping. But the most egregious mistake Asus made with this controller is there is literally NO WAY to switch profiles on the controller. So for example, if you switch between Clair Obscur and Arc Raiders, you would have to go plug your controller into a windows PC, launch the browser utility, switch the profile, then bring your controller back to your console and re-pair it. Literally every controller I tried after the elite 2 let you change profiles on the fly from the controller itself. I couldn't fathom this would be a feature they'd leave out so I was scouring the manual and googling trying to find how it's done, only to find its impossible. I could maybe excuse every other shortcoming if they had an app on the Xbox you had to use to change profiles, but having to use a PC to configure profiles and switch profiles is a complete deal breaker. It's crazy too because the controller has two extra face buttons and one could definitely be used for this.
So overall, the hardware seems great, but it's totally ruined by the inconvenience of configuring it. If you are using this to play on PC, maybe its an ok choice. But at that point I'd just pick up the wolverine V3 8k wireless since it is better in every way, it just doesn't work for Xbox. So I'm hoping Scuf fixes the disconnect issues I'm having with a software update, otherwise I'll still be looking for the perfect controller.
