Awesome laptop take it to the field and get my game on.

Amazing gaming laptop after 2nd try. The first one I purchased had severe backlight bleed and IPS glow. I returned it. I purchased again a month later (it was $500 off!) and got one with a great screen with only minor IPS glow and backlight bleed. I can get over the plastic build since the other specs are great. Battery life: I'm getting about 4 hours (non-gaming) Speakers: Very nice. I set the Dolby app to Movie:Warm

Good specs for the price, with 64GB of RAM and an HDD upgrade you have a much better laptop. Also thermals are good

This laptop is so incredibly powerful I can now play all the games I ever wanted without worrying about fps drops.

Fast boot up. Large high definition screen. Handles all the graphically demanding games I throw at it. Love it.

Asus ROG is top of the line. Very reliable and I love the big screen and awesome dedicated video card rtx4080!!!

FOR YOUR MONEY, this is the 4080 RTX Gaming laptop to buy. You are getting a laptop that will nearly keep up with the 4090 laptops (7 to 10 pct slower), a massive and surprisingly bright nearly 500nit 16:10 18" display with G-Sync, and a fast intel HX CPU. All for about a thoueand dollars less than most of Asus' competitors. The only thing they really skimped on here is the 16GB RAM, which can be upgraded. Really a stellar laptop.

I cannot believe they are putting this one on clearance. This laptop is EXCELLENT! I have had many laptops, just returned a MacBook Pro 14 for this laptop. The equivalent MacBook, well there is not one, but a 16inch with NO dedicated video card is $4000!! I will keep my 18 inch Asus that blows the Mac even the ultra M3 (whenever they release it) out of the water!

I was sceptical with all the not favorable reviews of the laptop but have been nothing but impressed by it.

The display is very good, and the processing power is exceptional. No issues with displaying the games I play with the mobile 4080. I don't know why they would handicap the system with 16GB. First thing I did was to buy memory and upgrade it to 32GB. For some reason, that seems to be the limit.

I love it, for the price I think it should have more ram and internal storage. I'm having a small issue with the gpu being pegged out but i'm still staying over 100 fps... anyways I still love it, just need to mess with the drivers I think...

Great running machine. One of the best gaming laptops I've had.

5 Stars in every category accept portability. This is a beast, and doesn't blink. Runs games a programs like a champ. Fan does spin up under load, but not as loud as other "desktop replacement" laptops. Display looks awesome. My panel has some slight light bleed, but I don't notice it unless restating/ startup. If you plan on traveling with this DO YOUR RESEARCH and check measurements. MOST backpacks will not fit this laptop. The value here is awesome.
