Asus need to fix those two issue. This is a low end laptop quality. I would pay few extra for. The quality of the Alienware m18. I alos had an issue where the laptop refuses to wake up after it goes into sleep, i had to kill it to be able to restart. I highly dont recommend unleess ASUS take it seriously and fix those issues

All ASUS products undergo intensive quality control testing and inspections. Backlight bleeding is common with LCD screen and coil-whine is normal for high-performance GPU(graphics processing unit). We recommend sending the laptop in for service in order to have the issues checked and be resolved.

This is the WORST laptop I have ever bought

I am using my 10 year old Sony Vaio always runs. I paid Geek Squad at BestBuy to fix hard drive corruption. Problem still exists, then I tried repasting changing SSD. Problem still exists. Nothing is working, cloud install also froze several times as new SSD was being setup to factory install.

Performance is also lacking, I put it in turbo mode but constantly got frame drops playing COD. Quality build is also weak, flimsy plastic feel. Scared I would crack the screen when it was in my backpack. Purchase this laptop when it’s sub $1500.

If you are experiencing slow system speed or performance issue with the laptop, please check if Windows and device drivers are up to date. If third-party application are installed, please verify if these are fully Windows 11 compatible and are running with the most current update. Keeping Windows updated will maintain optimum system stability and performance. While accessing web applications, please make sure the laptop has access to an established router, it is getting an excellent signal and internet service is working properly since poor and unstable internet connection will definitely affect system speed and performance. If these steps were already performed to no avail, please try to run a diagnostics or optimization test using the "My ASUS" utility software or application. A laptop with a desktop Power

With that being said, this is the first laptop I have owned, that I would 100% consider replacing one of my desktops with. This thing is a powerhouse, way more powerful enough to handle any games I have thrown at it, on high resolutions with almost no slow down. Not to mention any day to day applications I use worked great as well. Reading other reviews, some people were complaining of bleed through and system whining, I have not experienced either issue with the unit I received so far, everything looks and sounds great. The good: -Has a clean design/look to it. -Has room to upgrade (ram/m2) -The screen is large, w/a very crisp great picture to it - Ability to hook up additional montior via hdmi, or w/c to dp. - the rgb's on keyboard and front of computer look great. - i9 13th Gen CPU - Nvidia 4080 GPU The only thing I could say negatively about this would just be personal gripes: -When gaming for a period of time, the power brick can get really really hot. -No quick access panel to ram and the hard drive, you will have to remove the entire bottom of the laptop to upgrade. All for all I would highly recommend this laptop for anyone searching for a nice gaming laptop, this one will definitely give you your money's worth, with power and stunning visuals, and with room to expand the unit, definitely hard to beat.

Day One Issues... Be Warned Its Not Worth The Deal

It would lock up and freeze then the screen started turning white and checkered randomly. I returned it to Best Buy after a week of trying to make it work. This included updating all of the drivers and reinstalling windows. I would avoid it for now, as they seem to have many quality control issues!

Fast laptop but has screen issues

When it was plugged in it was fine but when you unplugged it it would randomly flash multiple times until you plugged it back in. Also had issues with the armory crate to adjust all the power levels.

I can’t really review it because it looked like someone used it as a dinner plate and boxed it up. I couldn’t even be bothered to turn it on because of the unboxed presentation. Best Buy please do better on these QC issues. The battery Charger had a large bubble in it as well….why???
