Customers are saying
Customers enjoy the stunning color quality and buttery smooth refresh rate of the ROG Strix 27" OLED QHD monitor. Some users find the glossy finish reflective in bright rooms, and the lack of HDMI 2.1 is noted as a potential drawback by a few. However, the high refresh rate is frequently praised for its smoothness. Overall, the vibrant colors are a significant highlight for most customers.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. One of the worst monitors I have ever purchased and THE worst OLED I have ever owned. I will start with the good. SDR is fine, it has some black crush but it really is MUCH better than HDR (which I will get to) The monitor has a very good refresh rate and is very good for competitive gaming, if that’s your thing. The OLED care is nice, should be pretty difficult to get burn in on this monitor thanks to all the features that help prevent it. Now on to why I gave it such a low score…The HDR, I have no clue if I just got very unlucky or whatever but the blacks in HDR take a massive hit. The way this monitor handles blacks is horrible, it’s tough to explain it but you will notice a big difference in how SDR handles blacks compared to HDR. The quality takes a big hit especially when there’s fog in a game or you are using a flashlight. Then, there’s the colors. The colors there is no middle ground when it comes to the colors in HDR, you are either getting very saturated colors or dull colors and the difference between the two is literally 10 points which, is one button press between the two because the settings only go up and down by increments of 10…. HDR locks a ridiculous amount of features to customize things to your liking so you are mostly at the mercy of what’s available to you and there is not a lot. The monitor does NOT have hdmi 2.0 meaning if you want this for your console, it cannot do 4k 120hz and instead swaps the resolution down to 1080p. Overall, this monitor should be considered at the very lower end of OLED’s in terms of quality. Way too overpriced for the amount of negatives I have encountered. Please consider buying a different monitor. I wish I had…..

What a Upgrade!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Stunning OLED Picture Quality: This is where the monitor truly shines. The OLED panel delivers incredible contrast, with perfect blacks and vibrant, accurate colors. HDR content looks phenomenal, and games have a depth and richness I haven't seen on other displays. Buttery Smooth 240Hz Refresh Rate: Combined with G-SYNC/FreeSync compatibility, this monitor provides an incredibly smooth and responsive gaming experience. Motion blur is virtually non-existent, which is a huge advantage in fast-paced games.

Good OLED budget monitor for Gaming
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It is a good overall OLED monitor, with its pros and cons: Pros: Excellent picture quality Decent refresh rate Menu has most used features Brightness is good enough for almost any light condition Cons: - Definitely not the best for text reading (I'm a soft developer) but it can be managed - Screen coating is hard to maintain clean, anything sticks-stand out

Much better than a 4k LED
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is an amazing panel much better than those 4k monitors everyone talks about. 4k on this size screen is pretty pointless as its too small to notice and it will just ruin performance. The amazing OLED more than makes up for the lower resolution and not to mention the lighting fast refresh rate and response time. Don’t hesitate on buying this I guarantee you won’t regret it

Excellent for Work and Gaming
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had this monitor since December and I am very pleased with it. I bought it for both gaming and work, and it is great for both. The OLED display is beautiful and it comes with a ton of customization options to meet my needs. I frequently mess with the settings depending on what kind of task I am working on. I would highly recommend this monitor - you will not be disappointed!

Game Changer
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you care about stunning visuals and competitive-level performance at the same time, this ROG Strix 27″ OLED is one of the best gaming monitors I’ve used — especially for 1440p gaming. It’s perfect for someone who wants their games to look cinematic, but still be responsive and smooth for shooters, action games, and fast-paced adventures. I’d absolutely recommend it to gamers, creative users, or anyone who appreciates excellent display quality — just try to place it where glare won’t bug you, and you’ll get a truly premium experience.

AMAZING, HAVE PURCHASED 3 DIFFERENT TIMES
|Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.AMAZING MONITOR, MUCH WOW. Display is basically the best on the market for the money. Display could be better with its peak brightness, but for competitive games, this is perfect and more than good enough for single-player games. This is in part due to the high resolution and reltively nice colors. Display has amazing motion clarity due to being an OLED and being a 240Hz monitor. I loved this monitor so much i purchased two and then another for my wife. I would recommend to anyone looking for a do it all monitor.

Fantastic 1st oled monitor for a fair price.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my 1st dive into oled gaming minitors. That said, Im not unfamiliar with the technology. The screen is extremely impressive, especially at the discount price I purchased it. Blacks are inky, refresh rate is very smooth. I did have trouble getting my computer to recognize it as an HDR display. It was not any fault of the display. I was running it on a rog gaming laptop and you have to set output to secondary display only and that fixed the issue. Extremely pleased. Hopefully the anti burn innfesture is effective. Only time will tell.

Great Colors
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been using this monitor for about a month now, and overall, I'm quite impressed. The colors are vibrant and offer a rich viewing experience, although it does require some calibration straight out of the box to achieve the best results. The deep blacks are particularly striking, adding depth to images and videos. Additionally, the build quality feels sturdy and durable, giving me confidence in its longevity.

Fantastic Monitor - read a guide and it’s amazing
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This monitor is exactly what I was looking for to use in gaming. This is also my first OLED, and I’ve been using it as my main monitor for 2 months now. The monitor works great out of the box, but to get the best possible experience you do need to tune it to your use case. It will also help set up the monitor to be awesome in your environment/room. There’s plenty of forums and discussion/guides on RTINGS, which I used to figure out what I liked. For example, I wanted to keep my taskbar visible so I compromised and increased the frequency of the pixel cleaning setting to reduce the chance of it burning in. I also turned off VRR because I like to limit frame rates to a stable number on games anyway, and therefore haven’t dealt with a single instance of VRR flicker, ever.

Great monitor slight downsides
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The color, contrast, and general picture on this monitor is great. The only real downside is glare. In a bright room with natural light it is very noticable but still playable; howeve, in a dim or dark room this monitor is absolutely stunning.

OLED is the way to go
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you are considering upgrading to an OLED monitor I can wholeheartedly recommend this model. It is so easy to adjust the hight and angle to what you need. Picture is phenomenal. Brightness could be better but as long as you are not in a super bright room you will be fine.

2019 PORTS can barely drive this 2024 sports car.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The display itself is amazing, almost like a portal into another reality with how deep the blacks can be and how vibrant the colors are - but as I found out after a cavalcade of hardware issues happening immediately after I bought this - the ports are WAY behind the rest of the monitor. The ports cap at HDMI 2.0 (pre-2017!) and DP 1.4 (pre-2019), neither of which can natively fully drive the monitor (a 2024 monitor!). Windows Display Stream Compression normally resolves this, but it apparently does NOT play nice with Windows' implementation of HDR (aka 80% of why I bought the monitor), which means in some multi-monitor setups, it'll max the DP bandwidth (I think?) and cause non-stop flickermania as windows decides what to prioritize. Once I figured out the defect was ASUS skimping out, I had a fine experience. There is a 2025 revision of this monitor that has HDMI 2.1, so I recommend that one instead once it comes out. I cannot recommend the 2024 version due to it being a mansion built on stilts. Also, the Best Buy reps at both stores were wonderful. seamless purchase and exchange experiences at both stores.

Black
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Monitor has it all! High refesh rate, lightning fast response times, color accuracy.... and most of all. BLACK. The blacks are incredible, you can see every detail. If it was a little cheaper I'd buy another.
