I wanted a quiet desktop tower to replace an aging 12 year old Alienware tower that was no longer repairable. My main concerns were quiet operation and the ability to render superb graphics on a 32 inch 4K Monitor. The Asus ROG Strix G Series Gaming Desktop delivered with incredibly quiet operation and outstanding graphics and video. It works flawlessly and exceeded my wildest expectations. I never thought a desktop could be this great!

Good performance for the dollar, but the fans are loud, the motherboard and ram are cheap as hell and the 1660 super that it comes with is ugly and is not the one in the listing pictures. Overall, it looks pretty decent on the outside and has some nice LED strips on the inside, but if you buy this you should probably plan on upgrading the RAM and motherboard and be warned THE GPU IS NOT THE ONE IN THE PICTURES, but it is a 1660 Super. Hopefully they update the pictures to correctly represent the product.

    Good but needs better RAM

So its been a few weeks now. here are my thoughts on this computer 1.Good for decent gaming. I know its not the best but for everything i've been playing this computer works well. 2.You need to get new RAM, the 8gb that is given in this computer works but limits and gives frame drops in games and in browsing the internet. better would be 16gb and you would be set. 3. The Board. So Keep in mind this is not a big PC this is using a smaller Board IE Micro-ATX. which is not put anywhere in the description of the computer and came to a surprise as i didn't see that detail anywhere. As well as the Micro-ATX is a custom Board, so don't think you can look up the details on this board as i couldn't find it as all on the open market. So am A big gamer and while i haven't played all the big titles. Here are the games i've played and how the experiences are. Game's Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege: So overall this game Runs well on this computer. i didn't have to change much graphically and it worked pretty well. i have around 90 frames pretty often never really noticing frame drops, unless other programmes are running in the background like firefox if i was watching a video and had it paused in the background i wont get bad frames that much but it does happen every once in awhile. Total War Warhammer 2: So This game Runs good and overall was a good experience but playing this game only was good once i put it on the SSD, using the HDD made all the loading really slow and i expect other total war game and i would also think civilisation games would require being on an SSD to run smooth. Minecraft(Modded:1.7.10): So the modded minecraft i did play i have found this. Not Great. So this game and specifically Modded requires good RAM and this computer does not supply this. While I am playing I am having frame drops and freezes often enough to be annoying. Now its still playable and i still play it. But you cant have anything running in the background at all, anything more then Discord or TS the computer has a fit. I had issues where while I was playing iv had to change the video am watching on the side and the browser and the game have huge issues with it. Its required that i need to upgrade the RAM to get better performance out of this game. I also cant imagine how playing modded minecraft in the new version would go and i would not expect it to be any better. ARMA 3: yes then No. So am unsure how unmodded play is but modded at all is not good. I would have stretches of good frames then massive Frame Drops then back to normal. Its extremely weird and TBH i think it as well may have some connection too the RAM as well but am unsure about that tbh. Warhammer Vermintide 2: Pretty good tbh. Not many issues with it and over all good experience. Fallout 76: Good, not any big issues and over was fun with this computer Rimworld(modded): great with this computer. No issues at all and its starts up fast and runs good while having no major issues. Assassin’s Creed Syndicate: Good graphics where well and the game worked on the computer and overall had no issues Last But not least Streaming. So Streaming Wise on this computer needs work, i feel like this computer will be able to stream well i just need to find the right settings and sort it well enough. I have had Stream Frame Drops but i think it just might be the server am connecting too as i know for a fact my internet is amazing. Finale Thoughts. So would i recommend this computer? Yes and No, here is why. In todays market where good computer parts are sold out and the same parts are sold for a higher price by someone else. Buying parts for a custom computer at this point is not worth it till the parts become more available as such right now this Premade Computer Dose the Job. Am Hopeing in the Future i may be able to upgrade this computer with things like 16gb of RAM for maby 60$, and later a new board. This computer right now and at the 100 or so dollars off i got it was totally worth it. but if your able to get a better Graphics card and RAM and SSD in a pre made for a simular Price then do that. Hope this helps

I’ve been waiting to get a good and excellent pc. They had it ship but it was worth the wait. I know when buying a pc it’s a responsibility but they could have suggested some items which would help the pc to keep it clean but other than that I’m happy!!!
