This laptop is everything I could have ever dreamed of having. The screen is beautiful with rich colors and no glare (I LOVE the matte finish). The keyboard with the color options is too cool to be dealt with. Yes, the fan does run a little loud when gaming, but not any more than should be expected. The keys do feel slightly warm when gaming, but not anything to be concerned about. The cover and case are really sharp looking. My only complaint, and a minor one at that, would be about the speakers. They're quite lacking, but nothing that can't be easily fixed with headphones or external speakers. Headphones would help to get past the fan sound. At least the fan is just a whirring sound and not buzzing like some other laptops. It boots incredibly fast and performs beautifully for everything I could possibly want. I have a bad habit of buying laptops and then having buyer's remorse and wanting something else, but not this time. This one is a keeper!!

This is not a desktop replacement. It is very good otherwise. Runs very fast. 120HZ but no G-Sync but that's ok. If you're looking for PUBG on ultra running at 100FPS, get a desktop. If you're looking to run PubG after class or Dota 2 during breaks, this will do it. Very "gamer asthetics". I don't like the number pad but it's only because it's not a full size number pad. It still is functional.

I bought this computer mainly for playing CS:GO. It boots up ridiculously quick compared to my old HP. I consistently get over 120 FPS while playing. After an hour of gaming, the laptop is hardly warm to the touch. Also love customization of the keyboard colors.

I purchased the GL503 non Hero and it had backlight bleeding issues. So I purchased the Hero, which had same issue but now its bottom left and top left. So I will be returning it and going to try the Scar edition. I love the laptop still, the size and the speed. I just need to get a non-defective screen.
