We have had this computer for a few weeks, and we are happy about our purchase. It is perfect for business and school work. Fast. Lots of memory space. We like how big the screen and full size keyboard are, but the computer is a little heavy. We don't mind this because we don't carry it around all the time. Good price for what you are getting.

Ok, so I bought this laptop for my son reading mixed reviews. What attracted me to it was the Ryzen 7 desktop processor integrated into the laptop. This thing rocks! My son plays all of his games, edits videos, and chats with all of his friends as well as does all of his school work on this laptop. This computer coupled with a cooling pad I bought him has outperformed all expectations. All of his friends wanted to know where he got it and 2 of them bought the same product. They all game together and never have and issue with game flow or connection. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who is in the market for a gaming / video editing and general school work laptop.

My Grandson loves this laptop - I gave it to him for Christmas and I'm so pleased at how much he loves it and me for giving it to him!!

Love this laptop. Very fast and well built. We chose this becaues we don't expect to bring this laptop to travel. The adaptor is super heavy. But overall we love its performance.

Love my new computer. I use this for gaming and the graphics are amazing and smooth.

To start off I am receiving points in the ROG Elite Rewards loyalty program for my review. I have had my GL702ZC for about a week now, and so far pleased with the purchase. I bought it mostly for play, and as a casual non-competitive gamer I am quite pleased with it. It handles everything I've thrown at it on max settings like the two new Tomb Raiders, and Final Fantasy 14 Stormblood. The CPU is a desktop Ryzen 7 1700 and is potentially upgradable so that is a plus. This is where it shines, and beats other laptops in multitasking power. The GPU I believe is a mobile RX 580 while not the greatest it currently exceeds my needs for graphics. Where most of the power is going to the monster CPU multitasking multiple applications on multiple screens is smooth as butter. Battery life is bad even with everything turned off, but I knew that before hand, and never planned on taking this 17" monster on the bus with me. The battery is pretty much a UPS for me. Build seems pretty sturdy though I don't intend to moving it that much except for rare LAN parties, or playing on the porch, or another room in the house. One annoying thing is there is a custom key that opens ROG Game Center right next to the backspace key that is a magnet for my fat fingers or fast typist. In the same application it opens you can turn the key off, or make it do something else. If you looking for a gaming laptop that has power for work, play, and is upgradable this is the laptop you are looking for.

I'm pretty sure this laptop can do anything. ANYTHING. It's designed for gamers with a crazy powerful AMD processor and one of Radeon's top graphics cards, so it delivers fantastic gaming performance. I've heard you can even game and stream at the same time, but that's not my thing so I haven't tried it. Video rendering 4K files is a breeze (sorry videographers, no coffee breaks anymore). It should be noted that it's a hefty laptop but they put a powerful desktop part into a laptop, so that isn't surprising. And it's way lighter than carrying around your desktop tower (+ monitor + keyboard). This is the laptop for the cool kids.

This is an amazing laptop and quite unlike any others I've used before. It uses a socketed desktop grade Ryzen 7 1700 CPU and it's amazingly fast at any kind of computational work. It also works pretty decently when it comes to gaming, has good speakers, and the display looks nice. The build quality is sturdy all around and so far I've had no major issues of any sort with this laptop. With all that said, there are a few drawbacks to a laptop like this. It's more like a desktop pc in a laptop body, and as such it suffers from issues like poor battery life(around 1.5-2 hours) and it's pretty heavy. It will also generate a decent amount of heat/fan noise when running in the higher performance settings. Overall you'll be quite happy with this laptop as long as you know what you're getting. It's not something you should get if you want high battery life, or something ultra portable to take to class. This is a serious business laptop which is best used for productivity or gaming. Personally, I have no regrets and would buy again without a second thought.
