Had some driver issues out of the box but they were solved very quickly. An all plastic chassis makes it not as sturdy as some other brands but the specs more than make up for it. Also a fingerprint magnet, keep a microfiber cloth nearby.

The liquid metal cooling system does a great job keeping the system at a working temperature. The keyboard is wonderfully responsive (I like mechanical keyboards - ymmv). I hook this laptop up to two other monitors for work and gaming, and the graphics card handles everything perfectly. The only thing that I cannot speak to is the touchpad, as I always use a different device. The sound system is far too quiet for my taste, even after going into the sound settings and cranking it up as loud as possible, I have to use headphone to be able to hear what is going on. I have settled on this laptop as my upgrade to this generation of computer systems. This is after I have tried many from other manufacturers, which all seemed to have something that I didn't like (usually the temperatures reached both internally and externally). The battery life is as to be expected with a 17 inch monitor, it lasted for eight to ten hours with simple usage and the monitor brightness turned down, and a little over an hour with hardcore gaming and no fps limits. Asus has done a great job with this system, with my only complaints being something that can easily be taken care of through accessories (sound system by headphones, webcam, by connecting an external one).

Absolute beast of a laptop. The screen is beautiful, and i really like the feel of the mechanical keyboard. Good thermals for a laptop. The surface stays relatively cool. The fans are also pretty quiet unless you put it in turbo mode and they run wide open, but thats remedied by wearing headphones. I was also pleasantly surprised by the built in speakers as they may be the best laptop speakers I've ever heard. Verdict: it's very pricey, but if you're looking at this laptop you're looking for the best, and this is definitely that.

Loving this latop. Fast, runs unreal engine like a dream. Cooling is much better even though it has a bigger GPU than my last laptop. Davinci Resolve: Up to 3 60 fps 4k dci raw fps at once before it starts to choke (multi-cam mode).

This is a beast of a machine! If you can get your hands on this laptop you will not be disappointed! Runs every game ive thrown on it like a champ
