The laptop crashes with a black screen. You call best buy support they do not help you. Theres better products and companies out there to spend your money with.

I was currently using the one with the 4090 graphics card but got excited to discover the 5090 card. However, mine kept coming up with "windows encountered a problem and needs to restart. it keeps doing that. then a few times when it restarted it wanted a bitlocker key. Blue screen of death? I will be returning this one and I have ordered another. I hope the one I get doesn't have these same defects. I still think ASUS makes the best laptops. I understand like with anything else, nothing is perfect and there will be some laptops that have issues. Am glad I can return it for another. I have faith in ASUS. Still #1 in my book!!

Returned it then i got the Scar 18 very nice at 1st but the software was very glitchy buttons not working somtimes and for the money its all plastic feels very cheap .Returned it went online to lenovo ordered the Legion 9i and wow all money well spent i will never recommend Asus..

If you are unable to play certain games, please update Windows, drivers, BIOS and the Armoury Crate utility software if outdated. Updates for this laptop are posted at: https://rog.asus.com/us/gaming-handhelds/rog-ally/rog-ally-2023/helpdesk_bios/. Configure the game, video and performance mode settings inside the Armoury Crate utility, ensure you don't go beyond the game's threshold. Additionally, if you are playing these games online, please ensure this laptop has access to an established router and internet service is working properly since this will definitely affect system stability and performance. If these steps were performed to no avail, please try to run a diagnostics or optimization test using the "My ASUS" utility software or application.
