Noticed the computer runs high temperature just running games but cools off quick after games are done. Woke up in 3rd day and computer initiated a BIOS update which locked up the computer. Returned that same day.

Very satisfying purchase overall
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.So far I haven't put any serious demands on the hardware to see how capable it is, but casually gaming has been super rewarding. The LED keyboard has some awesome patterns and looks cool. I'm satisfied completely. The ram and turbo capabilities for the GPU both synergize to play any game in my library flawlessly. There is a ton of software for managing all the features, and really maximizing your machine. You can even pair your laptop to an app on mobile to have control at any time, from literally anywhere. I have to recommend buying to anybody who may be on the fence.

ASUS had to replace the Motherboard, update Bios and reinstall the Operating System. This has taken more than one month despite being a Elite member of Best Buy, having a valid manufacturer's guarantee, a Geek Squad insurance and service agreement. Patience is a virtue and I have had to make several calls to Geek Squad and ASUS to get some information about is happening with my laptop. Still today I have not got the laptop back. This is the worst service and product I have ever bought.

ASUS provides warranty coverage in order to fix or repair any product that may stop working prematurely under normal usage. Must buy gaming laptop for 2019!!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.5 STARS for this ROG Strix!!! As far as gaming notebooks go, the Strix is conspicuous. The black, brushed back is very cool and is meant to represent the diagonal map split of MOBA games like Dota 2. It’s an elegant, if somewhat arcane, reference to what ROG expects most customers to be using this thing for. I definitely recommend this to all gamers out there!!! :))
