As a full-time Cybersecurity student, I needed a keyboard that could handle both academic work and gaming, and the ASUS ROG Strix Scope II 96 Wireless delivers on both fronts. I love that it includes a full number pad while still being compact enough to fit in my backpack and small desk setups. The build quality is top-tier, and the wireless connectivity (Bluetooth, 2.4GHz, and USB-C) makes it easy to switch between devices. The ROG NX Snow switches feel smooth and responsive, perfect for typing papers or jumping into a game. Battery life is strong, and the RGB lighting is vibrant without being distracting. Overall, it’s the best all-in-one keyboard I’ve used. I love how I have the complete ROG set up now with the Keyboard, mouse both complimenting my new ROG Xbox Ally X!

A keyboard that just feels right, at 96% it’s got that full size feel and the weight of it makes it feel like a quality tool for your workflow. 3 ways to connect. Can be corded, Bluetooth, or my personal favorite you can use the dongle that is conveniently in the right front area and it’s magnetized so stays in its slot almost to well. For the RGB you do have to download the ASUS software but just don’t add all the extra stuff and it won’t be as bloated. Or if you just want one color you can delete the software afterwards. This is easily my favorite keyboard I’ve ever owned or used. I even went back and got the white one a couple days later. They were on sale for around 169.99 I think but I would pay the full 209.00 price tag after owning one for a couple weeks. 10/10 would recommend to anybody who would like to enjoy their typing experience.

Fantastic Keyboard All The Way Around! Quality A+

The keyboard is nicely compact while having a ten-key pad and feels really nice. The sound, the quality, the materials are just excellent. The RGB lighting is phenomenal and the wrist pad is a nice add on that many gaming keyboards do not have. Makes the keyboard very comfortable especially when using it for actual "work" from home etc... I highly recommend this keyboard. I liked it so much that I bought two of them one for each of my desks and it's honestly the best keyboard I've ever had. If you want something negative, the software that is used for the lighting control etc.. it's really not the best. I typically only use it for firmware updates, and changed the lighting settings once and then I was done so it's not that big of a deal. The quality and feel of the keyboard make it worth it! Really is a great keyboard for gaming, productivity, and I also use it for my video editing.

Massive upgrade from a junky old company supplier keyboard I was using. First time using a keyboard like this and I find my accuracy and speed in typing has vastly improved. I appreciate the sound of the keys, they just sound…nice. Tried for gaming and again no trouble finding keys and feels very responsive. Software to adjust color settings is intuitive. I also like the supplied leather wrist rest that has magnets to attach, comfortable and just right amount of padding. Zero complaints from me, thinking about buying a second one to take to the office…

Been a pc enthusiasts for two decades. I always aim for functionality and aesthetics. If there was a perfect keyboard this would be it. Its hard to describe the sound, stroke, feel and weight - it all comes together just right. If pricey wait for a sale, but with these 5 star reveiws it seems far and few.

Very lovely keyboard. Makes satisfying noises and is very responsive without any double inputs. 4 stars because i didn’t like the full price but i got it on a good deal and also the RGB doesn’t exactly make the colors I want but besides that it’s my favorite keyboard!

Best keyboard I have ever owned, now 2 down side is that if you want to pause a video or music you have to hit the bottom to go to media then you can hit the volume bottom to pause then unpause and go back to volume to be able to control the volume and the second conn is if you use SignalRGB for your system it only work with wire connection it would NOT work via Bluetooth/wireless.

I think this is the best keyboard out there that you don't build out yourself. I think the ASUS snow switches are some of the best made, love them! Had an AZOTH as well but this is better being 96%. the only thing I still don't get about ASUS keyboards is having north facing LED's. If they made this keyboard just like this with south facing LEDs it would be one of the most popular keyboards ever. I like the wrist rest but can live without it. I wont think personally think the wrist rest helps or hurts me as I am gaming or typing. So... EH... Whatever. Could live without it and have the keyboard be $15 cheaper but i get it and it prolly is better to have as I can just not use it. I use it everyday as a work keyboard as well and only need to charge it maybe every 10 days. Honestly I am not even sure as it have never been under 20% even after 10 days, so it could go longer. That is great battery life!! EVERYONE who has ASUS products know how much of a pain ARMORY CRATE is but I like that they just have the AC module for this keyboard as an install on the ASUS site. much better then the full software. Would for sure recommend!! But please ASUS, listen to your customers and design the new versions with south facing LED's.

    Flawless and silken smooth

This is an impressive keyboard that has been compressed into a space-saving footprint even though it still has a full number keypad. By eliminating dedicated navigational keys, such as the PgUp, PgDn, Home, End, and such, and providing these functions elsewhere, ASUS was able to shrink this keyboard without losing any features you need. The keyboard spacing is standard, so you don't have to retrain your fingers to type in a smaller, compressed space. The materials and build quality are superb. The only word that comes to mind to describe these smooth, quiet mechanical key switches is silken. I have never experienced anything like them. I enjoy typing and this keyboard has taken that pleasure to another level. It has typical gamer backlit keys with a rainbow ripple of changing colors moving across the keyboard. In a darkened room it is quite lovely. But, in a brightly lit room, this lighting is not quite bright enough to keep all of the keys visible all the time. That is my only criticism of an otherwise flawless keyboard.

The keyboard is fantastic, the keycaps are very high quality and the it feels really nice to type on. The sound that this keyboard makes stock is also really nice compared to a click traditional gaming keyboard. The keyboard features both wires and wireless mode and the best thing is that it allows you to be a able to store 3 Bluetooth devices on memory to be connected to so that with a press of a button you can switch between computers and use this keyboard. The fit and finish is also super nice, there is metal plate on the back and its quiet study. Overall this might just be the perfect keyboard for both gaming and office work.

This compact keyboard is great for gaming. The switches are really crisp, and the rgb isn’t too intrusive. The software isn’t my favorite, but it works well enough.

I’ve been using the ASUS ROG Strix Scope II 96 for a few weeks now, and it’s honestly one of the best keyboards I’ve owned. The 96% layout is a perfect balance - compact enough to save space but still gives me a full number pad, which I need for work. The build quality feels premium, and the white finish looks super clean on my desk. The ROG NX Snow switches were a pleasant surprise. They’re smooth, quieter than typical mechanical switches, and have a nice, crisp feel without being too heavy. Typing and gaming both feel great on this keyboard. I also love that the switches are hot-swappable, so I can customize later without buying a whole new board. Wireless performance has been rock solid. I’ve had zero lag or dropouts using the 2.4 GHz connection, and the battery life easily lasts me through a full week of daily use. The RGB lighting is bright and customizable, though not overwhelming. If I had to nitpick, the keyboard is a bit pricey, and the software can feel cluttered at times. But overall, this is a fantastic choice if you want a high-quality mechanical keyboard that works well for both gaming and productivity. Totally worth it for the feel and features.
