Purchased this on sale when my MSI board failed, and it is the perfect backbone for my current setup. Installation and setup was easy, bios update was also cake. This is my first ROG board and so far after six months I'm extremely happy.

Feels sturdy and looks good light up in my case. This is my first major Asus purchase, the other boards had mixed reviews so I decided to try this one. I just looked up what the most expensive Intel board Best Buy had in stock and this was it. I'm a little annoyed it's 6E and not 7 but I guess that's okay. I popped in a 14 Gen I7. I'm sure you know by now that all 14 gen Intels are having a plethora of problems and Intel want's to blame all the Motherboard manufacturers. Other than the random reboots because of the intel chip this has been a good board thus far. I hope in time it will continue to do so. I have an old ASROCK and GIGABYTE board that are still trucking after many years so hopefully Asus doesn't let me down.

Wonderful motherboard. Booted up first try, everything works. Updated BIOS with no problems and it runs my 13900K with no problem. XMP worked right away on my 6400 Gskill kit. Overall the board is very sturdy and performs very well. Intel and Asus work very well together.

Really glad I swapped my Gigabyte z790 for this Mobo I had originally had a 13900k and ended up swapping it for a 14900kf and as well swapping my 1200watt PSU for a 1500watt PSU - thinking my instability issues was the CPU only to find out that clock/voltage settings in the Mobo Bios was causing it OR the PSU wasn't supplying enough for my system (Gigabyte 4090) Heck, I even purchased a Syn wave APC/UPC system to make sure it had proper and clean power coming into it. Asus corrected this by providing an Intel Base Setting in Bios - THANK YOU I can still work around the Base Setting they provided as well!!! I'll be looking to purchase another Mobo for that 13900k CPU now Asus has never disappointed me through 10-15 years of my life - Never again will I go with another brand

Having been using this for a few months now, and finally getting the proper memory (had to go through a few different kits despite using ones that were on their approved list) this board has been pretty solid. I liked the bios reset button on the back to make resetting it easier during troubleshooting. I also like the subtle colors. The performance has been great so far. I paired it with 32GB of ram and a 4070 super. I play in 1080p and haven't had any issues with a game so far in maxed out settings. I'd recommend.

This is a great purchase paired with a 14900k and RTX 5090. Everything works as advertised. It was really nice having the RGB fan ports so you can control RGB fans without ICUE or NZXT hubs required. Having multiple m.2 slots is really nice too. It is a little pricy but if you got the extra $$$ to spend it is worth it.

ASUS motherboards have always been great, been purchasing their boards for a couple of years now across multiple systems for myself, friends and family. Only gripe will be the auto OC function and how much of a pain it is to control it without it trying to kill your CPU.

Awesome product. Super powerful and will last a lifetime. Might not be the most affordable but worth it in the long run

I recently gave the core of my computer an upgrade that included upgrading my several generations old Sandy Bridge Intel processor, mainboard, and SSD. I also have to add that this is the first time that I ever board this level of computer upgrade parts from Best Buy. In the past, I'd go to more specialized online shops for base level computer components. Searching the BB site, I saw that not only did they did have components in stock at my nearby store, the asking prices were inline with searches elsewhere. Aside from Intel (for no reason in particular) I'm not married to component brands. A quick search shows the ROG-Strix considerably on sale and available. As usual, there is nothing perfect. Reading the reviews gave a mix of "It's great!" along with "It's DOA". Still, I've run ASUS in the past and had good experiences with a laptop that we got our son. Long story short, it installed easily, had good instructions, allowed me to use my existing AIO cpu cooler, and booted right up. The 9th gen Core i7 CPU runs fine, if not a bit warm when pushing it. All the features are there and the XMS memory profiles even work. So best I can say is, if you looking for the features it offers, it worked for me and being able to pick it up same day was just a nice extra.

So far so good. It was kind of on the expensive side but it really is an amazing motherboard. It fulfills most of anyone's needs.
I give it 4 stars instead of 5, because it advertised that it could handle up to 128GB. However I found out after building the PC that there are only a few models of Kingston Fury Beast sticks of ram that this can handle 4x32GB. I'm disappointed to learn that I am limited to 64GB, and do not want to rebuild, or choose a different motherboard.

Has worked well with a i9 14900kf after a few bios updates in 2024.

Using with an i7 14700K and I love it. The amount of USB ports and SSD slots are very nice. Some things good to know before operating: -Take off all protective covers before using. -Refer to the manual on placement of components. If you put an SSD in the first slot above the GPU it will limit performance. -Make sure you have a thumb drive with bios installed for easy flash bios installation.
